Tyre reviews Cordiant Snow Cross. Page 260 13520

The worst tires I've ever seen, the quality has dropped to zero. The rims are new and normal. I balanced them twice. Pointless! Even on the stand you can see how uneven the tire is. Madness, I bought the cheapest one. I didn't have any hope for traction, but at least I didn't expect to be hitting the steering wheel at 100 km/h (it starts to at 70 km/h). Madness!!!!!! Don't buy it!

It's not suitable for cold regions. We have temperatures of up to -35 degrees Celsius. The tire becomes hard and loses braking performance. In milder weather, down to -15 degrees Celsius, it behaves normally.

Review after 4 winters, only city driving during winter, approximately 10-12,000 km per winter. First and second winters: ok. At the end of the third winter, air was leaking through the studs on two tires, first I inserted plugs, then it was tiresome to install two cameras, at the beginning of the fourth winter, I installed cameras on the other two tires (same lowering). I drove for 4 winters. This winter (20-21) - one

Previously I drove a Bridgestone Ice Cruiser 5000 in comparison to it, the Cordiant Snow Cross does not differ significantly. On the first wet snow, it behaves well, predictably. On dry and wet asphalt it behaves well even taking into account it is studded. I am satisfied with the tire. Went to a second season with studs in place.

Third car on which I bought these tires. The advantages are:
- relatively quiet
- very well handles and brakes on snow and ice
- fairly durable (now already 3rd season, mileage on them about 35 thousand, all studs are still in place)
- if not overinflated, it is quite soft on small potholes and cracks in asphalt
The disadvantages are:

It's a bit noisy, but it's on the spikes. It holds the road well. I haven't driven on ice and snow yet, but it should work well by the feel of it. Another season has passed and I'm satisfied with the tyres. Snow and ice are nothing. I've driven everywhere, on any roads, and on any surfaces. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I would recommend.

Last season I had a Cordiant Snow Cross because I needed one tyre that could handle both city and track duties. I remained satisfied with the tyre - it got through the winter well, didn't crack, no bulges, minimum wear. It ran well on any surface - on snow it gripped, and in ice it bit.

Objectively speaking, this tire is noisier than a summer tire, but it's quite acceptable otherwise. I've driven through several winters without any issues, the studs didn't fall out, and I didn't notice any bald spots. The braking is clear, and it holds the road confidently. Even on a snow-covered track, everything was fine. At speeds of 100-120 km/h, it's been running smoothly. In general, I'd recommend the Cordiant for its price.

A solid four-star for the price.
Noise, but it bites perfectly, holds course normally. After one season, there's a lack of 3-4 studs on the wheel, I consider this to be good, taking into account that the tire ran all winter in the "taxi" mode.

Tires 215/65 R16 102T have justified the money spent on them. I live in the Murmansk region and what winter is like I know firsthand. For 30 years of driving experience, I have tried out various "treads". But this model is no worse than foreign ones and in some sense even better, Cordiant studs don't pop out unwillingly (checked on previous models). Some people write that the tread pattern was copied from the 7th
