I've run two winters on the Sno-Max tires and I'm very pleased with the purchase. They handle very well with a small load and I've only lost one lug. I drove a lot more on snow than on pavement, and on ice the car handles great. Last winter I drove over potholes on pavement and the tires remained whole. I would highly recommend these tires to all my acquaintances.

When I bought them, I was expecting they would be better than the 519s I had before, but unfortunately my expectations were not met. The tires are more expensive, and I haven't noticed any benefits. They ride fine, but my expectations were much higher.

Didn't expect them to behave this way at this price. Tires are simply super! Went through one season without losing a single stud, drove until late spring. Road noise is moderate, and at high speeds it's almost inaudible, what can you expect from studded tires. Handles great on snow, and on ice as well. From a budget domestic winter tire - the best choice!

These tyres are really great, I've bought 2 sets already, and I don't have any complaints whatsoever! In two seasons I've only lost 4 studs on the front wheels with a front-wheel drive vehicle, and I was driving as fast as I could. On a road with this tyre I feel very confident, 120 km/h on a winter track is normal, I don't know who wrote before that you shouldn't drive over 60 km/h at -25°C and below,

Installed on the rear axle drive. Second season in operation. When accelerating from a standstill, a quiet ‘chip-ping’ on asphalt can be heard. As speed is gained, the noise from the chipping blends in with the rear axle noise and is not noticeable. I bought Cordiant Sno-Max in November 2012 for 2150 RUB. R14 (Kalina) - a great tire for the money!
Pros:
- doesn't slip
- sits well on the rim
- excellent handling on snow, asphalt, mud, potholes (ice - slightly worse)

A decent tire, I slip away first at intersections while it snows or ices, it makes noise, but it's not the worst option, on the asphalt I can feel it pushing in the groove. Despite the fact that I love and will accelerate faster and will drive on the track at 120-140 for 3 winters, I've lost only 2-3 studs in the wheels.
