Great tires

The tire meets the declared characteristics. Noise level is average, handling on snow, ice and snowmash is not bad. Of course, a lot depends on the driving style.

Advantages: suitable for BMW X3 like native 225/60 R17. I really like the behavior on the road both at speed and when conquering snow drifts, when after work in the evening tractors pile up surprises to the edge of the parking lot.

Disadvantages: not noticed

Comment: I love it when the car listens to me and when I don't have to get my snow shovel out of the trunk))) spoiler - last winter I didn't have to even once.

I wouldn't say that the price for this tire is outrageous. It's quite possible to splurge on decent tires, even if you're not an oligarch, but the owner of some old Patriot (an SUV, after all). I have a mid-range BMW, but I keep a close eye on my tires, since it's a matter of safety not only for myself, but for my family and other road users. Three seasons have passed - everything is going smoothly.

The tire has shown good traction properties on dry asphalt, on wet asphalt, on ice, on rolled and on loose snow. There are no complaints, on the road the car obeys the driver unequivocally. Also drove on the highway, didn't notice any excessive hum, it's comfortable to be in the cabin, artificial (and natural) irregularities are passed quite softly.

I've just changed to my second winter season, and the tires are in a new condition. The studs are all still intact - they're holding up like they're nailed in. In dynamics, I'm very pleased with how they handle what they're supposed to. Braking and acceleration on different types of surfaces, maneuvering on "icy figure-eight markings", and even the noise level is quite tolerable, despite the studs (I initially expected more hum, but that's just subjective).

Excellent tires

I decided to treat myself and my Volkswagen Touareg (255/55 R 18) and bought Blizzak Spike 02 suv. The manufacturers didn't lie about durability - it's the third season and the spikes are still in place. For me, this is a miracle. And I feel the car differently, it has become more predictable on ice. I'm satisfied with my choice. The price is fully justified.
