They behave well in snow and slush. They don't like ruts, there are some concerns about cross stability. The stud protrusion was a surprise, I was afraid they would start coming out, but so far this winter, not a single loss.

I don't remember the last time I've had to use ABS, the car stops dead in its tracks, especially on snow. On ice there are no problems with side slipping, not even at a decent speed. After 140km/h the tires start to howl, but the trade-off is well worth it; you're not worried about stopping quickly in winter, but rather hoping the other guy does.

Aggressive tread biting, and relatively quiet. Won't throw the car in puddles, doesn't get stuck in slush (compared to other studs). Cruises steadily at speed. Won't bury itself in snow, cuts like a tank.
