Tyre reviews BFGoodrich Urban Terrain T/A. Page 4 223

I bought this tire due to a friend's referral who owns a Volvo XC70. I didn't regret it, whether it's dry or wet roads – it's just perfect. The higher the speed, the more comfortable it gets. People recommended this tire and said that Michelin produces it at the factory. I brought it with a perfect French balance - no more than 30g, and that only on one wheel. The rest of the wheels were between 5-20g. I think

These tyres have proven themselves well in both urban and mixed use. Aquaplaning at height, they grip better than the high-speed tyres, they hold up well in nighttime frosts and are exceptionally soft. Minimal wear. Of course, there is a little more noise from them, but that's not critical.

Excellent highway handling, it does a decent job on dirt, nothing more. A 4 out of 5 on noise, almost inaudible. Thought it would be softer, the Yoko 012 was softer. Overall, I liked the tire, hope it'll last long.

The decision to buy or not to buy this tyre was nerve-wracking! Always something bothered me, yet in fact an excellent tyre purchased in place of the standard bridgestone.
The tyre is soft to drive over small joints, tram paths are a pleasure. Much quieter than the standard bridgestone.
For now, absolutely positive emotions.

A pretty good tyre. It behaves better on the road compared to Michelin. Slightly stiffer, but the car is more stable. Off-road it’s a bit problematic - it quickly "fogs". Apparently, we will have to take spares in the boot.

Excellent tires!!! They hold the car very well on wet asphalt, snow, and ice. Would like to buy such a set again.

Bought for 5 thousand rubles, drove for 3 seasons (spring, summer, autumn) The tires are good, you can also drive off the road (DUSTER 4x2), but the front wheels in three years (on average 12 thousand km per year) have worn out by 70 - 80%. I drove 80% on asphalt, 20% on crappy forest clay roads. For 5 thousand rubles, the tires are good, but now (from 11,000 rubles) you have to think.

These tires are on two Volvos - 70 and 60. On the first one, the mileage on them is around 80,000, on the second one around 40,000. I live in the middle lane, so you can't drive on them all year round, I put studs on for winter. Initially, I took them because I sometimes go off the asphalt onto roads where highway tires are completely helpless, even with four-wheel drive. The tire has recommended itself from the best side - on dry asphalt, of course, it slightly yields to highway tires of the first line (I used to drive on Contis and Michelin), but it's not critical at all, if you don't go beyond reasonable limits, then in all situations there is a reserve for the eyes. When exceeding the speed on any road and starting to skid, they behave very predictably, smoothly start to slip, smoothly stabilize, this is much more important than test limits. Up to half of the mileage, I had to drive on highways, I drive quite fast,
cruising 160+/-, I was afraid of increased noise, it was indeed at first, but after the first thousand, everything came back to normal. The tire allows you to be the last to change into winter and the first to change into summer, on the first snow and in frost - almost like a full-fledged winter (up to -5 approximately), on ice, it predictably slips, there are no miracles, but with a fresh tread, it is very resistant to aquaplaning. As a result, with my not very careful driving style, the tire has traveled 80,000 and is now in its last season. On the second car, which moves more calmly, after 40,000, the wear is less than half, 6-7 mm left. On light off-road, it pulls (of course, it's not worth going into the mud). The tire is strong - reinforced carcass, I bent the disks in the pits several times, the tires are intact, the permitted limit is 210 km/h, I exceeded it - without consequences. As a result - a very balanced and wear-resistant tire for a wide range of conditions, and at the same time, it allows you to be confident everywhere, but for purely city driving, most of the qualities are redundant, it's better to take just a good summer tire.
Yes, among the drawbacks - not the most comfortable, a hard reinforced sidewall makes itself felt. But it's quite acceptable. The tire is definitely a yes!

The tires were satisfactory. I drove in temperatures down to -5, they held the road normally, but naturally not on black ice. They pick up small rocks, which then clatter. They handle the road well, and also perform well in turns. The braking distance is excellent, and they perform well on sand.

Ordinary urban soft, in general, so-so tire, lasted for 4 years and 60 thousand miles, then suddenly all became oval. Nevertheless, I took a second set.
