Tyre reviews Arivo Winmaster ProX ARW3. Page 3 316

For the first time I bought friction tires, I took them in a non-standard size for my car. I'm very surprised at how they handled the snow, and the winter was very snowy, I didn't get stuck once. Given the use in the off-season, the wear is minimal. I never got stuck, I always managed to get out on my own. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

Good tires. They handle the road perfectly. I constantly drive my kids, in loose snow and on completely ice - of course, they skid, but I took them without studs, but they are very quiet

I bought them in mid-October 2023 and installed them immediately. The first impressions were great - they are soft and quiet. When the frosts came and a little snow fell, the impressions remained only positive. December arrived, with lots of snow, ice, and icy ruts - the impressions were simply terrible. On the ice, the car throws from side to side, and there's no braking. Conclusion: quiet and soft tires, perfect on dry asphalt and snow, but terrible on ice.

Guys, I want to assure you that if you buy this tire, you won't regret it. I had Michelin Pilot Alpin 6 225/40/18 before, and I have nothing bad to say about it, but Arivo is no worse, it grips the road and bites like it's nailed, like it's on studded tires, doesn't slip. A friend recommended it from a hundred, I'm satisfied like an elephant. Take it, don't think about anything

I've just installed them. On the street, 0 asphalt is dry. City, didn't exceed 100 km/h. Quiet, even after a Continental summer. If I didn't know I had replaced them, I wouldn't have noticed the difference. Neither in turns, nor during acceleration, nor when braking. There's no feeling of the lamellas giving way, like on the old Nokian Nordman RS. Whether this is good or bad, winter will show. I'm not giving ratings for winter characteristics. No data yet.

Excellent tires, with only one drawback. There was a resonant hum at a speed of exactly 100 km/h (+- a couple of km there is no sound) for about 4000 km, then it disappeared. Very quiet, handles snow like a pro, feels confident on any type of winter road, the only thing it doesn't do very well is brake on ice compared to the closest competitor.

I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.
Of the minuses, I can only mention the noise after 80 km/h.
In all other respects, I'm very pleased with these tires. They handle snow like beasts. I didn't notice any aquaplaning. In a rut with water at a speed of around 120 km/h, it goes - doesn't budge.
On ice... Ice is ice, even in Africa. At low speeds and without sharp changes in direction and speed, the car behaves adequately.

On the plus side, it's an acceptable price... that's about it. In the village on this tire, I could barely drive - very poor traction of the tire on compacted snow.

I just got them today! I've driven 10 kilometers so far. First impressions are positive. They were balanced without any issues: 20 grams per wheel. They're very quiet! At the time of replacement, the weather was -2 degrees. The roads are a mess. They handle pretty well. The handling and drift are controlled. I won't say anything else for now. Over time, if I don't forget, I'll update my review.

The tire corresponds to the price-quality ratio. Snow is not an obstacle, but if there were studs, ice would not be a problem. A bit noisier compared to Kumho. Holds the road well. I will buy it next time
