Tyre reviews Amtel Planet Evo. Page 1 65

I'm generally satisfied with the tires. I've driven 12,000 miles this season on a mix of gravel and clay. I like the new tire's properties. There's just one thing to note: the rear tire developed a bulge (front axle). The front tires picked up screws (nobody's immune to that). I'd like to try out the Evo winter studs or not risk it :))

I've worn out 5 honest seasons on these tires. Wore down to the tread indicator. A relatively quiet tire, quite soft, but fears road roughness, needs constant adjustments. The biggest downsides are wild imbalance up to 90 grams per wheel. Bought on sale with a good discount. The plus side is good traction on the road. Didn't speed up in the rain and didn't brake in the snow, yet ABS won't give in. Size 215/55/16

Toured 5,000 km on tires. One tire, running in a straight line, had small cracks that allowed air to pass through. The tire repair shop said the tire was bad and separating from the casing. The tire is not repairable. I bought this tire from an advertisement claiming it was a Pirelli licensed product. I will not buy any more Amtel products and will not recommend them to anyone. Prior to buying this tire, I had only purchased tires from Kamaz,

Overall the tire felt great...for city driving.
Soft, quiet, grippy.
On the highway, from 120-130, it stays steady, regardless of swapping front and rear tires, same result.
Felt aquaplaning for the first time on this tire.
Previous tires were the Continental Comfort Contact and Nokian Hakka.- Vehicle:

Replaced 2 sets of wheels - and going on 4 trips from St. Petersburg to the Black Sea, daily commute to work around the city, and trips to the dacha. No complaints about balancing, handling or noise. The third set is due for replacement, I wanted to get it in St. Petersburg, but I hear they've stopped production. Too bad.

They are very poorly balanced. There are indentations on the sidewalls from the factory. Not noisy. Aggressive (on a diesel with MKPP) compared to Nordman Sx. Resistant to aquaplaning. On the date of recall, they had 30,000 km with 3 mm of tread depth remaining. I will change to the same, but in the store with its own tire shop.

Excellent tread in terms of performance characteristics: braking, handling on dry and wet roads, and comfort during driving - extremely soft and quiet, and what impressed me the most - thick and, at first glance, robust sidewalls... But there is one BUT, which negates all the positives - AFTER THE FIRST SEASON (around 12,000 km) a strong vibration began after 90 km/h!!!! I drive carefully, I avoid potholes (anyone who's driven a Matiz will

7 months ago I bought 2 tires for my car, as the old one (not AMT) developed cracks on the tread. I immediately went to Volgograd and rode on both dry and wet roads - for the price of these tires, the ride was normal. Last week I bought another 2 tires to have a full set.

Drove on tires for a season... Roughly 12,000 to 15,000 km. And now my wheels can't get balanced. As a result, there are such noticeable uneven wear, that the wheel becomes "humped". One wheel has more, the other has less... At the tire shop they said the tire is bad. And so the domestic manufacturer got my vote... No complaints about tires beyond that.
