This is the 3rd set of winter tires on the car (region - Republic of Komi, driving from November to April on snow, bare asphalt, snow mush and ice). I don't remember what the 1st set was, the 2nd set was Nokian Nordman 5 (they lasted 9 years) and now Amtel has been installed. Based on the principle of 2 assessments - normal (if it suits) and crap (when there are obvious flaws/minuses), so far Amtel is fine, and if compared to Nokian Nordman 5, I would say that Amtel does not concede to it. In the evaluation criteria, I put 5 stars for summer parameters because an assessment is required, but I couldn't assess the summer parameters.

When I had my tires installed at the tire shop, they said the tread was all uneven, but so far my wife has been driving and hasn't complained, and the studs are all still in place

I installed these tires after using non-studded winter tires. Braking performance has improved, with a shorter stopping distance. The increased noise level is very noticeable, but it's within acceptable limits. I cannot evaluate the wear resistance, aquaplaning resistance, wet handling, and speed characteristics, as the tires have not been used extensively.

There were more expectations from the tires, the old Nokian did a great job. This one slides on ice, sneaks around in courtyards, starts from a traffic light with a box, rear-wheel drive, no assist systems, but when it gains speed, it behaves adequately, predictably. On dry asphalt, wet and in snowy slush, excellent. No aquaplaning, very good in wet weather. It rides great to the side)))

Wear resistance is top-notch, the tread holds tight.

The tire is normal, it grips well, the only minus is that it's noisy

Snow tires are the best.
