The Maxxis Premitra HP6 summer tire is a universal model that suits not only passenger cars but also crossovers. The tire's operational properties are designed to provide maximum efficiency and comfort in everyday use, along with a long service life.
The tire's tread is made from a rubber compound based on natural rubber and "silica". A highly technological variation of the latter is used, featuring a fine-dispersed powder of silicon dioxide in combination with special polymers that provide the compound with increased strength and resistance to rupture and stretching at the molecular level. The practical result of these innovations is the tire's excellent resistance to abrasive wear. This has been further enhanced by the beveled edges of the drainage grooves, which minimize the risk of a continuous water film forming in the contact patch, even with significant tread wear.
