The Barum Bravuris 5HM summer tire is designed for use in passenger cars with improved dynamic properties. It is distinguished by reliable coupling properties on wet surfaces, sporty sharpness in handling, fuel efficiency, and a long service life for such tires.

The tread is made of a rubber compound that, in addition to its high "silica" content, also contains special polymers. These increase the strength of the compound against tearing and stretching at the molecular level, which improves resistance to abrasive wear and extreme mechanical and thermal loads that occur during prolonged high-speed driving. Another feature relates to the design of the tread pattern. Its central part has numerous lamellas that improve traction on wet surfaces. The profile of the groove walls fixes them in a stationary position, which increases the rigidity of the ribs, thereby increasing the stability of the trajectory and the accuracy of control.

Key features of Barum Bravuris 5HM

- The rubber compound with increased "silica" content and special polymers in the composition is not only resistant to wear but also ensures the integrity of the tread under extreme loads;
- Self-locking lamellas in the central part improve longitudinal traction and steering accuracy on wet surfaces;

Technologies

Outstanding high mileage

The Bravuris 5 HM tire is made from a High Mileage compound using a new polymer technology that provides a new level of wear resistance. The innovative central rib design with optimized lateral grooves and sipes provides a reliable smooth ride. The balanced arrangement of the ribs optimizes the distribution of stiffness and even pressure on the contact patch, helping to prevent uneven wear - and ultimately gives a truly outstanding and long-lasting mileage!

Reliable performance on dry pavement

Thanks to the improved composition of the latest generation with silica, Bravuris 5 HM provides rolling resistance and traction at the highest level. Closed blocks on both sides and the patented traction pattern design improve pattern stiffness, resulting in confident grip and full steering control.

Low rolling resistance

Highly elastic and heat-resistant compound with improved vulcanization components reduces rolling resistance. The optimized tread pattern design minimizes tire deformation and prevents heat buildup. This means: less friction, a smoother ride and, ultimately, low fuel consumption with real savings.
