New summer tires Barum are presented
The European market is introducing a new summer tire, the Barum Bravuris 6 (a Czech brand owned by the Continental consortium), whose predecessor, the Barum Bravuris 5HM, was introduced for the 2019 season.

Compared to the previous generation of tires, a number of characteristics have been improved, and most notably, the operational resource and fuel efficiency, as well as the level of acoustic comfort, have increased. Additionally, the Bravuris 6 has received a new EV✔ marking, indicating that they have been optimized for use on electric cars.

The new Barum features a tread pattern with an increased contact patch, improving braking properties and handling on dry roads, while wide grooves drain liquid and increase safety in rainy conditions. In addition to this, the design has been improved to extend the lifespan of the novelty, and the new rubber compound and tire profile have been optimized to improve ride smoothness and reduce tread deformation, resulting in reduced rolling resistance and fuel savings.

The Bravuris 6 is available in 14 sizes, from 185/65 R15 to 225/45 R17, and in the future, it is planned to produce tires in sizes with a diameter of 14 to 20 inches, a profile width of 155-275 mm, and speed indices from T (190 km/h) to Y (300 km/h). According to the European classification system, the tires have received a "B/C" rating for economy and a "B" rating for traction on wet surfaces and noise level.
