Vauxhall Vivaro is a range of light commercial vehicles. It has been produced since autumn 2011, being one of the versions of the same model by Opel, intended for the domestic British market.

Generation A

The car, which debuted in 2001, was created on the basis of the second-generation Renault Trafic, with which it was produced on the same assembly line of the enterprise located in the British Luton. The next generation of the car was presented only in 2014. And this was again a copy of the Renault Trafic, but already the current third generation. Externally, the van differed from the "original" only by logos and inscriptions on the body. The unique feature of the car was the engines. The manufacturer preferred to abandon the 2-liter diesel engines in favor of a less "cubic" but much more modern power unit. This was an inline diesel "four" with a volume of 1.6 liters, a joint development of Renault and Opel. Unlike its predecessor, this van lasted in serial production much less — until 2018.

Generation C

In 2019, the third generation of the van debuted. As before, it was not an independent development, but this time the Peugeot Expert was used as the basis. This is due to the change of ownership of the British brand, the Stellantis corporation, which also acquired the PSA concern. Again, externally, the van could be distinguished by the logo on the radiator grille. In all other respects, it completely repeated the French "original". The car is available in three variants, differing in length — from 4.6 to 5.3 meters. In all versions, the height is 1.9 meters, and the payload is up to 1400 kilograms. In terms of technology, the differences are exclusively from the previous model. The engine range consists of inline diesel "fours" — with a volume of 1.6 liters developed by Ford and 2 liters from PSA. The power units are combined with both "mechanics" and "automatic" from Aisin. The drive "by default" is on the front axle, but at the same time, the list of additional options includes a system of full drive. Such modifications are produced outside the United Kingdom, at the enterprise of the French company Dangel. The list of options includes a removable partition behind the passenger seat for transporting items over 4 meters long, an electromechanical drive of the side doors.
