The car debuted in the fall of 1993, based on the city compact Opel Corsa 2nd generation, borrowing its front design up to the middle pillar. Second Generation

In the fall of 2001, the car of the second iteration was presented. Contrary to the established trend at that time, this model continued to maintain a technical connection with the compact Corsa. As a result, the car was distinguished by a small width, namely along the entire length of the body, which made the design much more harmonious. Another innovation was the appearance of sliding side doors.

Third Generation

The next generation of the car debuted in 2012. The van was a restyled copy of the Fiat Doblo, differing in logos and a modified front design, stylistically corresponding to other models of the British brand. The car was created on the platform of the compact model Grande Punto, differing in the use of a two-link rear suspension instead of a torsion one.

Fourth Generation

In the winter of 2018, a van of the fourth generation appeared in the production line of the British brand. This time, the car became a "twin" of the Citroen Berlingo of the current iteration, which was created on the modular EMP2 platform developed by PSA. Externally, it differs in the design of the front part, stylistically brought in line with the passenger models of the British brand, as well as the absence of "signature" plastic overlays on the body sides with Airdump air capsules. But at the same time, the range of versions has been expanded due to the appearance of a modification with an extended wheelbase, for which an optional third row of seats is offered. The car's interior is made in a more minimalist style, differing in a steering wheel taken from the brand's passenger models. In addition, the Berlingo's second row with a 3-section back, already available in the standard configuration, is available only as an option for this car.
