Tyre reviews Viatti Brina. Page 9 1948

I inherited the tyres from the previous owner. They were new but cheap. I drove on them for three winters, around 10-12 thousand km. Viatto, I'm satisfied, they lasted three winters without any issues and no loss of grip. They held snow well, dry asphalt okay. On ice, the grip was weakest, even for a basic grip feeling-wise.

Good traction, happy with the treadlife. Perform well on snow and slush, quiet. Fall short on ice compared to studs, but overall predictability is good. No regrets on the purchase, would recommend.

Tires are quite good and at a good price, all things being equal. They’re fine on all counts, except for:
- a bit weak braking on ice
- can wander on a wet road when the snow is melting
- a bit stiffBut the positives outweigh the negatives at Viatto. Because it’s all the rest of it)

Good tyres, quiet enough, soft. No complaints about handling. Hold a good line, confident in the snow, and decent braking on ice. If I was to be picky and choose the worst roads for this tyre, it would be wet roads after the rain. However, they still hold up better than they could have.

These tyres are great in terms of price, quality, and comfort. I drive confidently on wet asphalt and snow. It grips like a shovel. The softness/firmness of the tyre is to my liking, it's perfect for winter. The handling in the corners is excellent, the course is stable. And the sidewalls, in terms of their durability, I was pleasantly surprised, they can withstand heavy loads well.

Good grip, practical tire in its segment. Balances easily, quiet ride. Drives confidently on snow and slush, didn’t get stuck in drifts. On black ice it's still inferior to studded tires, but with careful driving there's no problem. I recommend.

The tire proved to be a nice ride, much more enjoyable than on studs. Ice wasn't an issue, as there's mostly asphalt, a few patches of black ice, and it's only in the driveways where it's a problem, but there's not much speed there anyway. It handles loose and slushy snow with ease. Even in -36°C, it remains flexible. As compared to studs, the tire is noiseless.

Good grip, good tire for the price. Confidently grip snow, both loose and compacted. Not noisy, out-slippery on ice to studs, but overall predictable behavior. I'm satisfied, I recommend.

I like these tires overall – the price is pleasant, and the quality is no worse than more expensive ones. The traction in the snow is impeccable, but to be honest, it's not that great on the ice, and I expected that, given that a non-studded tread is a far cry from a studded one (that's something that can't be forgotten). In terms of stiffness, I don't find it too negative, but neither does the directional stability and handling suffer. The tires

Good quality, value for money. Did not have any balancing issues. The tire is not noisy, and it grips both snow and packed snow well. The sidewall is robust. It did not harden in strong frost. It wears down at a normal rate and evenly. I would recommend it.
