Tyre reviews Viatti Brina. Page 4 1948

Tires that need to be, have already been tested on both snow and asphalt. The snow has both fallen and melted. The grip is good in both cases, and they hold their course equally well everywhere. The tire is of good quality, can withstand collisions with curbs, strong for winter tires sidewalls, and has a good non-fading compound (for its budget).

I liked that it allows you to move quickly, keeps a decent speed. If you need to leave the asphalt, it withstands gravel roads. On different roads and at different speeds, it didn't deviate from the course. Previously, I had Dunlop, and I didn't notice a huge difference in the quality of the ride. Softness + Dunlop, Durability + Viatti

On snow and asphalt, the traction is normal, it holds the road, and I also drove through a snowbank by necessity, in the spring when there are puddles - aquaplaning occurred. In my opinion, it handles more interestingly than the previous Yoshka and is also more robust. Also, when skidding sideways from the curb, the tire did not suffer, whereas last year in a similar situation, another tire was punctured, I don't remember the model.

The tire itself is of good quality, after that season without wear, almost like new, and I think the loss of studs is not much, up to 10%, maybe I just drive carefully to deliver the cargo without damage. In fact, the tires are whole, no cracks, no cuts, no bulges. And so, the tires behave as they should, where they need to grip, where they need to cling, everything is in order.

I haven't used studs for a long time, Brina is stable enough anyway, it really sticks like it should, in winter I drive adequately and don't feel any wheel slippage. Maybe it's not the same for everyone, but on the Suzuki Swift it's good and comfortable to handle, on the street or in the yard, in winter or spring I drive without problems and it's good in terms of durability, it withstands spring potholes without any consequences.

When choosing the size 225/50-17, the price and internet reviews played a role, and a friend of mine had someone who had driven on them. I installed them, drove until the snow and cold weather, and realized that the tires are generally okay, and better than the previous Goodrich ones. I feel more confident in turns and the braking is more responsive. Of course, the tires are new and the sensations from this are more positive, and I feel more calm behind the wheel now.

Over two years of operation and already three long winter routes of 4000-5000 km back and forth, the tires have seen and endured a lot. BUT they are still serving: in snow, sometimes in rain, frost and thaw, ice or slush, flawlessly. Moreover, there are no damages and the wear due to harsh operation is 2, precisely no more than 3 millimeters.
