Tyre reviews Pirelli Scorpion Winter. Page 28 354

The mileage on the sidewall is right, but I'm around 40,000 plus or minus, over three seasons. That's a pretty good record for winter tires, I think. And the tread and sidewalls are still in good condition, with no signs of damage. Although, the risk of having to change the tires prematurely is still there due to potholes and puddles with icy edges that occur during the winter.
Overall, this is a great tire for a crossover that is primarily

The best on the market in this size. Suitable for driving even in summer without worrying about excessive wear, braking issues and aquaplaning.

Accelerates/brakes perfectly. Tracks well through deep snow, even through fairly deep hardpack. Doesn't hesitate on icy descents. Handles very smoothly, enters turns with confidence, stays in the groove. Hard to judge longevity yet, but tread looks sturdy and I hope it will last a long time.

Good city tires, strong but soft. Equally confidently drive on wet asphalt, through puddles, through snowy mash. You even don't have to change your driving style after summer tires. On snowy crust or ice, of course, you need to be more careful while steering, but still, the grip with the road is quite noticeable, and the plus is that in the city, driving on snow or ice is almost never necessary. And for freezing asphalt or puddles after thaw, this option is

Mounted tires on November 1, there's no snow and ice on the roads, so I can't assess. As for the rest, I'd rate 5 out of 5.

Perfect for a heavy-duty and powerful vehicle! The tires have excellent snow traction and decent on-road handling. Ideal for our winters with icy roads, rain, and thaws. They behave confidently in any condition - except for black ice, which is not something to be overconfident about on any tire, even the super-studs. Some wrote that they're city tires. I disagree. On the highway, they behave quite adequately, allowing you to drive at a decent speed for winter conditions without anxiety

Purchased a 7-year-old one at a low price.
The fitter said that he could barely fit it onto the rim due to its thickness. There is no ice yet, but it handles water well.

For a crossover that spends more time on city and highway than on rough terrain, the most important thing! Comfortable, soft, quiet. Well handling and braking. Confidently go on any snow, which is especially relevant not only in the city, but also in the backyard of your own home, where the snow is rarely cleared promptly. At the same time, the tires are also suitable for country driving, if you don't participate in competitions in winter driving on off-road. In general,

A great winter tire for city driving. I've been driving with this set for two seasons now, and the tire performs admirably on both packed and loose snow. Last year the snowdrifts were so deep that the tire didn't slip once in them, which is a huge plus.
When the road alternates between clean asphalt and black ice, handling is always good. It doesn't hydroplane in small puddles.
It's a bit noisy on asphalt, but that
