Tyre reviews Pirelli Scorpion Ice Zero 2. Page 3 719

Ran almost the entire winter... the tires are great. Bought a set of 4. There was a small wormhole... One tire has a runout. Balancing maximally removed, but... there is a "click-click" sound at speeds from 100 km/h. Tire production - Russia

Pirelli Scorpion Ice Zero 2 235/55 R18 104H XL 235/55 R18
Off-road capability and stability 5+I ran it in according to all the rules - ~500 km at a speed of up to 80 km/h. So far, all the studs are in place. Soft and predictable. Pressure 2.3 atm. However, I did find a "fly in the ointment"... I bought a set of 4 and one of the tires has a lateral imbalance, but it's not fatal. Otherwise, I'm happy with the tires.

On ice, in snow - maximum clarity of behavior and stability. High load and speed indices provide a margin of safety. At the same time, the tire is not stiff during operation, quiet. The price is less than 10 thousand rubles per tire (225/65 R17 size) - quite adequate.

I completely agree with everything said here. Tires are indeed incredibly awesome! They fully justify their cost - safety is priceless.

I drive a lot, including in the winter, and in all kinds of weather, so I don't have a lot of time to debate the choice of winter tyres. Their safety and comfort depend on this decision. I've recently switched to a new generation of Ice Zero. I've already had experience with the previous modification and was satisfied. So far, this new model has not disappointed me either. In comparison to the first modification, this one is slightly quieter, although it's hard to judge objectively

Good tire for urban winter, quiet and comfortable, studs are hardly audible, no hum. But not suitable for conquering snowy expanses. Dense lamination, quickly clogs with snow, the car starts to float on the road and is skidded in turns.

I took care of buying new winter tires before the season, planning long trips, so the priority was on studded tires. I read reviews and was inclined towards Michelin Nord 4, but the price was biting - 22.5k per tire. I accidentally stumbled upon a new product from Pirelli, which was 1.5 times cheaper, made in Russia. I changed my tires at the beginning of November, drove 500 km in a calm mode, and then started driving dynamically. The tires hold the road perfectly, the braking distance is predictable, and they are one of the quietest studded tires. I managed to drive to Sochi - 2,500 km one way, and encountered dry asphalt, rain, and ice with snow. So far, all the studs are in place, we'll see how they perform over time.

I have nothing bad to say. The only downside I would mention is the noise from the tires on the asphalt, which is typical for most studded tires, but I was prepared for this when I bought them. Overall, I'm satisfied with the tires, and at first glance, all the studs are in place. Good luck to everyone on the roads.

They handle ice, snow, and ruts very well. There is some noise, of course, but I think it's a matter of the car's sound insulation.
