Tyre reviews Kumho Solus KH17. Page 3 620

I bought these tires in the 215/65 R16 size after selling my Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport with only 3km on it due to reading forums and deciding to sell, sacrificing the exterior appearance (they came on R17s) in the hopes of getting a smoother ride with the 16-inch radius. User reviews and tests did their job and I fell for the marketing hype about the Kumho Solus17 being "quiet and soft". Not even close. It wh

I bought this Kumho product. Before, Bridgestone TURANZA ER-300 was installed. I suspected Turanza was noisy, once I punctured a tire and replaced it with a Kumho, simply couldn't find an ER-300, so the size-fitting Kumho was chosen, and it was necessary to screw it in. It seemed to me that the spare tire made less noise (it was on the same axle with the Bridgestone at the rear). When I

The tire is soft. In the tread of the tire, a lot of small rocks are embedded. When driving on asphalt, they start to rattle against the asphalt. I get a feeling that something is wrong with the axle. I can hear the sound of the rear wheel when the driver's side window is open. Then, it all disappears. It gets stuck in the mud, with wheelspin. Toyota Fielder. The tire is extremely smelly after driving on wet roads. The color of

On the Ukrainian roads, or rather on the unpaved roads - perfect. Not too hard, but not too soft either. I hit some potholes a few times - still holds up. The tire is really the golden mean. Worth every penny of the 100 bucks. Didn't drive in winter - assessments from the lantern

The tire came with the car purchase. It's been used for 2 warm seasons, approximately 45,000 km on them. They're worn out and started sliding the car. It's got good cornering grip and is stable in a straight line. Aquaplaning occurs at speeds of up to 70 km/h. The tire bites through puddles. It's fairly stiff, warms up quickly. It becomes dull and turns into plastic at temperatures above +8 degrees Celsius. It

Initially, I was a bit disappointed, it seemed too stiff and sluggish to handle, I drove over 400 km and everything started to get back to normal, it became quiet, now you can hear the engine noise and that's it! With a slight delay, it responds to steering in maneuvering and doesn't particularly like cornering. The rest is working on a five-star level. After buying, it ran for a month. The opinion has slightly changed for the better, probably the break-in had an effect. The noise at low speeds has disappeared, I don't drive at high speeds (up to 120 km/h). The ride smoothness has also improved - the tire has relaxed and taken its required shape. It is desirable to maintain the pressure at 2 atm. I am more convinced than ever that the undeniable merit of the wheel is its price to quality ratio. For

Very good tyres, came with the car, bought it recently. Good traction on the dry and excellent in wet conditions, perfect braking, no wheel spin, very good road holding, quiet and slightly sporty. Handling remains good at all speeds. Moderately good wear resistance.

I bought them for 75$. Before that, I was running on Michelin Pilot Primacy, so I've been comparing them. Based on reviews, the tire was almost perfect, but in practice, I didn't see anything exceptional from Kumho, except for a decent handling during cornering. They are soft and comfortable, but on a good road. Slight noise appears at around 30 and 110 km/h. They don't respond well to steering, but then they "catch up

I've completed one season! Soft braking on dry road. The tires on the car. Mainly, I looked at their behavior on a wet asphalt when choosing. Expectations were met. I didn't have to pull over to the side in heavy rain like everyone else: maintains itself confidently on asphalt in water (speed around 140 km, the asphalt was completely under water <2 cm.), does not "flick", does not slip and does not lose control during turns and braking.
