I'm buying tires of this brand and model for the second time. Moreover, the first time it was an acceptable compromise, and now it's almost the ultimate dream for me, because tires for my car cost a fortune. I want to note the excellent driving qualities of the rubber, its low noise level. They serve honestly for three summer seasons. Consider that I live in Kuban and summer lasts from March to December. I'm so satisfied that the summer tires on my spouse's and sister-in-law's cars are of the same brand, but of course, of different sizes.

Disappointment! The wear resistance was very surprising. The distances are not giant, and I don't even do drifting. I drive in the city and on out-of-town highways. But the tires are completely worn out after 1.5 seasons. This is absolutely useless! I really regret spending a lot of money on THIS, the tires are not cheap, and now I'll have to update all the tires again.

I bought these tires in May 2024. There were no issues with balancing, with loads of up to 35 grams. However, after a week, when I was able to get out of Moscow, a surprise emerged - vibration at 120 km/h, such that the steering wheel was visibly shaking. Repeated balancing did not help. After 10,000 km of mileage, the outer part of all tires was noticeably worn out. I blamed the wheel alignment, but it was normal: I checked it twice at different service centers. The tire fitters said that there was a defect in the tires and advised me to check the wheels. The original alloy wheels were found to be in order upon inspection. The wheel alignment was specially done within the allowable limits for toe-out. But after another 10,000 km of mileage, the outer part of the right front wheel was worn down to baldness. I went to the service center, thinking that the wheel alignment had gone out of adjustment, but it was still within normal limits, just as it was initially set. When I told the specialist, he said that he had never seen anything like it before. With over 20 years of driving experience, I've never seen tires like these before. Usually, my tires last for at least three years, but these died after just one season. Is this a specific defect or are they just not suitable for the Mohave? I only drove on asphalt. In heavy rain, it would hydroplane in the ruts, and I had to drive slower than everyone else.

I have mixed feelings about this tire - on one hand, it's announced by the manufacturer as a tire with a "sport" inclination, but in reality, it's not quite so. Or rather, not quite so.
The thing is that the Ecsta PS71 model tires, apparently, come in different versions and I got a completely non-sporty one.
Let me explain. The full marking of the tires I bought, Kumho Ecsta PS71 195/55 R16 91V XL, means that for my size, this is a fairly low profile (due to the width of 195 at a diameter of 16"), the XL marking should hint at a reinforced sidewall and I expected the tire to have rim protection with these inputs.
However, there is no rim protection. But that's only half the problem. The second thing is that the tire is completely sloppy in turns - the car just "floats", so you can't count on dynamic driving if you suddenly need it.
At the same time, I've seen tires with the same marking on the road, only in a larger size, which had rim protection!
But on the other hand, the disadvantages give rise to advantages - the rubber is quite soft, quiet.
In terms of appearance - the sidewall is beautiful, but the tire sits a little "like a bun" because there is no rim protection (yes, I'm fixated on this issue).

In general, the tire is not bad, but I didn't get exactly what I expected.

I chose high-quality and most importantly comfortable tires for the Macan. In its size, there are only sport options. Out of all the sports options, I chose these and didn't make a mistake. After Michelin Latitude Sport, these are very soft and quiet. I'm completely satisfied.

The tires are super, also winter ones of this brand, rode out the season without problems.
