The question arose of choosing summer tires 235/55 r18.
From the factory, Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT runflat tires were installed.
Kumho is softer than Dunlop, at the very beginning of the tire run-in, I didn't really like the behavior at speeds above 170 km/h.
However, after a while, the tires wore in after a thousand kilometers and overall became no worse than the Dunlop ones.
Now, from time to time, I drive on the M11 at a speed of 190-200 km/h with pleasure.
I didn't notice any special noise from the tires, I didn't see any drawbacks.
For its price (11,600 per wheel), it's a very good option.
P.s. I didn't drive on these tires on ice and snow, so it's not worth looking at the assessment of these categories.- Vehicle:

Most democratic by price for this dimension. All small drawbacks during normal operation will be imperceptible.

After switching to 18-inch rims I looked for tyres 245/45 R18 100Y
After purchasing I was pleased with the look, beautiful
However, initially there was a slight whine, which disappeared after 50 km of break-in
"Holder" is excellent, very good grip with the road.
They also turned out to be quite soft.
I drove 220+ km/h without any questions, handling at high speeds
Very glad- Vehicle:

Anti-crisis variant - the cheapest of non-Chinese in my size.
Medium tyre, acoustically signals before a blowout. Dry braking distance is longer than desired.
Actual width of the tyre is already wider than, for example, Nokian in the same size.- Vehicle:

I've driven about 20 thousand km, and I'd like to share my observations. The size is 275/45/20.
The tires have a good balance of price, quality, and characteristics. They are perfect for city driving and moderate highway cruising. They are not noisy, soft enough on the tread, but with a stiff sidewall. They hold their course very well, with above-average grip.
Now, about the drawbacks. Apparently, due to their width, they hydroplane very early. I experienced aquaplaning at speeds of 70 and 90 km/h, approximately. Both times, the car was pulled to the side on a curve in a shallow puddle in the lane. It's unpleasant. I drive very carefully on them in the rain.
The wear resistance is very disproportionate and unpredictable. Over the first summer, with a mileage of 12 thousand km, they barely wore out. Literally, minus 1 mm. I was very pleasantly surprised. But by the second summer, by July, the wear was almost complete. I drove 8 thousand km by July. Meanwhile, the wheel alignment and camber have been in perfect order all this time, and I maintain low tire pressure. However, I drive very actively and faster than the flow of traffic.
Due to the wide 10j rims, there is a slight "wander" and severe tracking. If there is a rut, you can only hold the steering wheel with both hands.
Conclusion: it's definitely worth buying if you're not too aggressive a driver, if you don't want to pay the price for top-tier tires, and if you don't want to switch to Chinese tires.

The tire was pleasantly surprising. It's soft enough for 225/55 19 at 2.5. On the highway, in the rain, and on dry roads, there are no complaints about handling. It confidently resists aquaplaning. Long high-speed driving at 120-140 km/h at a temperature of 40 degrees did not affect handling. Driving in the city is comfortable - small bumps, potholes, and joints are passed without complaints. I drove carefully on dirt roads, didn't get into deep mud, so I can't comment on its off-road capabilities. There are no complaints about noise levels. I gave it a 5 for wear resistance, but I really can't assess it yet due to the mileage.

I purchased these tires in March and I'm writing this review in July, the car is an Opel Astra H hatchback.
I'm very satisfied with the tires
- they brake perfectly, handle the road perfectly, simply ideal!!
- I drove in a heavy downpour, it was raining like from a bucket, I was driving on the highway at 120km/h, the tires handled the road perfectly, no aquaplaning, like on dry asphalt)
- they are noiseless, soft, and the wear is minimal after almost 5 months, I've driven 10,000 km
- for this price, it's just a gift
I highly recommend!!!- Vehicle:
