Tyre reviews Kormoran Stud. Page 1 54

Having driven for 11 years and having tried all brands and types of tires, I can assure you of my expertise. A special note on tires that freeze and become as slippery as ice! Especially during turns when braking! Fly off the road when you get on these tires. Sideslip is absolutely crazy even at 30 km/h. In all turns and in case of unexpected obstacles, I would only use engine brakes, so I'm still alive, I'm a Class 1 truck driver,

I was looking for a tire with a good price-quality ratio for a long time. I settled on Kormoran Stud 205/55 R16 94T XL (studded). Winter has passed. The tire is relatively quiet. At a certain speed, a not very strong whine appears, but it's normal for a studded tire. It holds the road well. On bare ice, if you're not too aggressive on the gas pedal, handling is quite good. They warned me

Good tires. A bit noisy on the highway, but it's not a major issue. No noise at all in the city. Good traction in snowdrifts. All studs are still in place after 3 months of driving. In short, these tires are really good.

Good day. I was looking for tires that are affordable and of good quality. The use of the tires has met my expectations. The tires are fine in all driving modes.

Tires are very soft, quality is super, grips the road perfectly on 4WD, steady on ice, no noise in the car, studs grip well, nothing has come loose yet, I really like them, super price, bought in summer.

Decent tires for their price. Made in Serbia. Handle snow well on 5-series, but braking is worse. Good balance of price and quality. Rear tires inflated to 2.8 bar, front to 2.4 bar.

Not a specialist. Used it for about a month: installed when the first frost hit and snow fell, a week later everything melted away. Generally quiet, nothing like aquaplaning... In general, I wouldn't call my review objective, but as you asked >

For the exploitation of a small city car with an automatic transmission, predominantly in the city, the price-quality ratio is simply ideal for me!
The noise level and comfort are comparable to a non-studded Michelin tire. At least, on machines with standard factory sound insulation. There are not many studs, but in the city, it's just the right amount to grab onto ice and not screech on the asphalt at full throttle. By the way, after three months of use,

Bought in the fall of '19. I've been driving for the fourth winter already. Mostly out of town. It goes well in the snow. On ice, the stud grips well if you drive "smoothly". Loss on all tires is no more than 10 studs. After purchase, I ran it in, drove like a pensioner. There were no problems with balancing either. No more than 80 grams per wheel. I would take it without hesitation

Excellent tires. Considering that I drive very dynamically + constant highway trips at a speed of 160-170. In 3 years, 4 studs have come off. You understand what kind of loads the tire experiences with such driving.
Of course, a lot depends on the car, but if you don't have the cheapest crossover or SUV, and don't want to overpay, these tires will be ideal.
