Description Windforce Catchfors UHP Pro 245/45 ZR18 100Y XL

The Windforce Catchfors UHP Pro summer high-speed tire is designed for installation on powerful passenger cars. Belonging to the UHP category, the model provides precise handling during high-speed driving, minimizing noise effects and the risk of hydroplaning.

The tread has an asymmetric structure. In its central part, there are three medium-sized ribs, supplemented by non-through grooves. They, having increased stiffness, contribute to the accuracy of control. In addition, such elements effectively cut through the water film, minimizing the risk of aquaplaning. The wide "shoulder" zones increase the overall grip, guaranteeing control over the vehicle during maneuvering.
Among the specific features, the displacement of the main elements relative to each other can be distinguished. This allows reducing the formation of vortex air flows and decreasing the noise effect even at high speeds. Therefore, the model is characterized by an improved ride comfort indicator.

Key features of Windforce Catchfors UHP Pro

- installation on high-speed vehicles;
- asymmetry of element arrangement ensures reliable fixation of the tire, both on dry and wet asphalt;
- high acoustic comfort, achieved by minimizing the occurrence of vortex flows;
- high strength of elements reduces their wear and ensures responsive handling;
- the presence of wide drainage channels guarantees the speed of cleaning the contact area and increasing the overall level of safety

Windforce Catchfors UHP Pro: budget comfort for the city and moderate highway

The model will be of interest to drivers looking for an affordable high-speed tyre for quiet operation mainly in the city. The main advantage is a smooth ride and quietness at a reasonable cost, but at high speeds, balance control is required.

Who is it suitable for: The tyre reveals its potential in urban cycles and on out-of-town highways at speeds of up to 110 km/h. Buyers note a comfortable softness that does not overload the suspension on unevenness, and an acoustic silence better than expected for this class. On wet asphalt, the grip is confident, and the drainage channels work efficiently in the rain. For mid-range vehicles, tyre sizes are selected exactly according to the manufacturer's specifications. With a calm driving style, the lifespan corresponds to the budget segment. The price allows you to update the set without serious damage to the budget. Many buyers note that they receive tyres of the current year of release, which is convenient when purchasing.

Who should consider an alternative: It's better to choose a different class if you regularly exceed 120 км/ч on highways. It's less suitable for those who expect a lifespan of 4-5 seasons of active use. For aggressive sporty driving or track days, it's more reasonable to look at specialized models. If the ideal geometry of each wheel without checking is critical, it's worth considering possible variability. Heavy off-road vehicles with high loads should also consider alternatives.

Main reason for choice: The main argument for buying is the opportunity to get UHP segment characteristics for affordable money. The practical benefit is comfortable operation without overpaying for the brand. A reasonable compromise is to accept a limited resource and check the wheel balancing before installation. The level of expectations should be kept realistic: this is a reliable option for daily tasks. The final advice is that if your scenario matches urban operation, the purchase is justified.
