The summer tire Michelin Primacy 4+ is suitable for most popular passenger cars due to its extensive size range. It is characterized by improved grip on wet surfaces, braking efficiency throughout its lifespan, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.

Safety on wet roads

The asymmetrical tread pattern is distinguished by an increased volume of drainage grooves. Compared to the previous model, they hold almost a quarter more water, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning. This is noticeable during operation. A significant part of the increase in groove volume occurs when the remaining wear of the tread is 2 mm.

Modified rubber compound composition

The key difference between the 4+ model and the regular "fourth" is the composition of the rubber compound. It has been significantly changed, which has improved the driving properties on wet surfaces and increased the tire's mileage. This is still a rubber compound with a high silica content and a package of special polymers. As a result, the tread remains elastic at low temperatures and resistant to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears.

Wear indicator

The tread contains special indicators that allow you to fairly accurately determine the moment of tire replacement. Unlike similar solutions from other brands, they are located not only in the central part but also on the edges of the tread. This makes it possible to accurately determine the axis and side of tire installation, which significantly increases its mileage.
