The tire's tread is designed in the modern asymmetrical design. It is divided into several sections, each of which provides certain operational properties. Such blocks significantly expand the contact patch, while giving it a shape close to square. As a result, the specific pressure on the road surface decreases, as well as the degree of abrasive effect on the tread. Additionally, this property is enhanced by the uniform distribution of external load over the entire contact patch area. These features improve several ride qualities of the tire - handling, traction when maneuvering, rolling resistance. Moreover, the wear of the tread is reduced, which increases its service life.

Progressive compound composition

This model is one of the first to receive a rubber mixture with a significantly updated composition. The key innovations were high-dispersion micro-silica and modified butadiene-styrene rubber. The first component improves the ability of the tread to tightly fit small road irregularities, which increases traction with the coating. In turn, MS-rubber provides more uniform mixing of the ingredients of the rubber mixture. This improves its homogeneity and, as a consequence, operational properties.
