The Sailun Atrezzo Elite summer tire is one of the eight models recently introduced by the Chinese manufacturer specifically for European drivers. The development was carried out by foreign specialists, and its design uses new technologies and materials. This has made it possible to provide excellent handling and traction for its price range.
Excellent performance in all driving modes
The tire's tread is designed in the modern asymmetrical design. It is divided into several sections, each of which provides certain operational properties. Often, tread elements interact with each other, leading to a significant improvement in some characteristics. For example, the longitudinal rib and the shoulder zone on the outside of the tread can be cited. Both elements have a rigid and stable design that resists lateral accelerations, giving the tire stability, stability at any speed and when maneuvering, as well as increasing the accuracy of vehicle control. And the tread elements located closer to the inside provide longitudinal traction properties.
Increased resistance to aquaplaning
Even at high speeds, the risk of aquaplaning with this tire will be minimal. The effectiveness of the drainage system is at a fairly high level. Its key elements are longitudinal grooves with significant capacity. They are adjacent to transverse channels. Most of them are inclined relative to the direction of movement, which allows increasing the speed of water circulation through them due to the effect of centrifugal forces of wheel rotation.
Wide shoulder zones of the tread
More than half of the tread area is occupied by shoulder blocks. They are very massive elements arranged perpendicular to the direction of movement. Such blocks significantly expand the contact patch, while giving it a shape close to square. As a result, the specific pressure on the road surface decreases, as well as the degree of abrasive effect on the tread. Additionally, this property is enhanced by the uniform distribution of external load over the entire contact patch area. These features improve several ride qualities of the tire - handling, traction when maneuvering, rolling resistance. Moreover, the wear of the tread is reduced, which increases its service life.
Progressive compound composition
This model is one of the first to receive a rubber mixture with a significantly updated composition. The key innovations were high-dispersion micro-silica and modified butadiene-styrene rubber. The first component improves the ability of the tread to tightly fit small road irregularities, which increases traction with the coating. In turn, MS-rubber provides more uniform mixing of the ingredients of the rubber mixture. This improves its homogeneity and, as a consequence, operational properties.
