Description Maxtrek TREK M7 PLUS
Maxtrek TREK M7 PLUS — a modern winter tire for passenger cars, in which the classic directed symmetry architecture is supplemented by a number of innovative details. The model is designed for drivers who value predictability and refined reactions on complex winter surfaces — from icy roads to snowy sections.
Zoned base
The classic directed tread pattern is not just a legacy, but a deliberate choice for maximum efficiency in longitudinal and transverse directions. Two ribs in the central zone form a structure that supports the accuracy of straight-line movement. This design, reinforced with a high-density network of lamellas, also creates a multitude of sharp edges for ice traction. It is also responsible for the instantaneous response to steering, preventing "wandering" on a "broken" winter road.
Extended rectangular blocks in the shoulder zone are connected by a system of integrated bridges of variable stiffness. This minimizes their deformation during acceleration and braking, ensuring even pressure distribution. Hundreds of additional lamellas on the surface of the elements create a "brush" effect, literally digging into the micro-irregularities of ice and packed snow, which reduces the braking distance and eliminates wheel slip.
Adaptive compound
Special additives in the mixture act as "molecular shock absorbers", allowing to maintain elasticity, both in frost and during short-term thaws. The integration of high-dispersion silica microparticles and polymeric fibers creates a reinforcing matrix that significantly reduces abrasive wear on cleared asphalt, increasing the tread resource without losing traction properties.
Key features of Maxtrek TREK M7 PLUS:
- a combination of ribbed structures and dense lamellas provides a clear "feedback" of the steering wheel and trajectory control on the most slippery sections;
- the shoulder zone with block segmentation and developed lamelization provides a powerful and stable start on snow, as well as excellent braking;
- a reinforced frame and wear-resistant compound guarantee the preservation of dynamic characteristics over a long period;
- the geometry of the tread and channels prevents clogging and avalanche loss of traction in snowy slush.
