The Cordiant Sno-Max 7000 tire is a novelty from the Russian manufacturer, distinguished by a high degree of adaptation to the characteristics of the winter period in our country. To create the model, advanced modeling and manufacturing technologies were used in conjunction with high-quality raw materials. This was reflected in the improvement of working characteristics, both on snowy and icy road surfaces.
The tire's tread is represented by large blocks that form the middle and shoulder zones, as well as a solid rib with uneven edges. Located in the central part, it provides high accuracy of directional movement, as well as quick response, increasing the maneuverability of the vehicle. All tread elements are densely covered with three-dimensional lamellas with a self-locking effect, which significantly increase traction on slippery roads. And the large blocks contribute to the preservation of traction properties when passing through snowy sections.
An important feature is the studding. In this case, medium-sized spikes made of a special steel alloy were used. They are reliably fixed in the mounting seats, which ensures a high level of their preservation even with regular high-speed driving on clean asphalt. Due to their small size, the spikes do not create strong noise, maintaining driving comfort in the cabin.
A special compound with a high percentage of silica, as well as special additives, is used as the compound. Their combined effect helps to maintain the elasticity of the tread elements in a wide temperature range. This factor guarantees the reliability of the contact patch fixation in any weather, maintaining a high level of safety. At the same time, protection against rapid wear is provided, thanks to which the tire withstands multiple seasons of operation.
