Gislaved — year after the restart of the plant in Ulyanovsk

"Cordiant" marked the first year after the official restart of the former Bridgestone plant in Ulyanovsk, which resumed operations in 2025 after almost three years of forced downtime and a change of ownership. Last year, the enterprise produced 1.2 million tires (when the plant opened in 2017, it was reported that 2 million tires would be produced annually, with the possibility of doubling production in the future), which, as the manufacturer notes, meets the plan. 148 tire sizes of two brands - Cordiant and Gislaved - were mastered, and the company emphasizes that "the technological base, production culture, and multi-stage quality control have remained unchanged".

The Ulyanovsk site of "Cordiant" continues to expand both the model range and the range of tire sizes produced. Currently, the assortment includes summer Gislaved ActiveControl, Gislaved EcoControl, and Cordiant Run Tour, as well as winter Gislaved SpikeControl and Cordiant Sno-Max 7000, and it is reported that "together with the Intair scientific and technical center, the enterprise is working on the production of new product lines and tire sizes in response to market requests".

"The plant successfully completed 2025, achieving all the set goals," emphasized Andrey Abramov, the plant's general director. "Now we are actively working on expanding the model range and launching new tire sizes to meet the requirements of our customers."
