During the development of the tire, great attention was paid to ensuring maximum traction properties on wet roads. A significant part of this was devoted to the design of the tread. Its shoulder areas are made rounded. This solution allowed the zone of maximum pressure to be moved to the central part, where a wide rib is located. This literally pushes water out from under the tire, expelling it outward through longitudinal and numerous transverse drainage grooves.
Reduced rolling resistance
The tire is characterized by improved fuel efficiency. Much of this was achieved due to the operational properties of the rubber compound. When creating it, the Nano Pro-Tech technology was applied. The essence of this solution is the uniform distribution of silica and special polymers throughout the rubber compound at the molecular level. As a result, the strength of the tread for breakage and stretching is significantly increased, as well as its ability to conduct heat. The reduction in tire heating and the ability of the tread to maintain its integrity under constant mechanical stress significantly reduce rolling resistance and, consequently, fuel consumption.
Increased service life
In the shoulder areas of the tread, the blocks are connected by special bridges. These elements, despite their apparent insignificance, significantly increase the service life of the tire. They limit the mobility of the blocks, preventing their deformation during longitudinal accelerations. As a result, the contact patch does not change its shape and size, and the load is distributed over it just as evenly as when driving at a constant speed. As a result, the level of abrasive impact on the tread from the road surface decreases, and its wear resistance increases.
