The Maxxis Maxxcross EN motorcycle tire is a highly specialized tool that is perfect for solving strictly defined tasks. These include the fastest possible movement on hard dirt surfaces. Among the six other representatives of the Maxxcross line, this model is the most "hardcore", designed for operation on rocky types of coverage. It is there that it reveals its strongest sides, which are reliable and stable grip properties, exceptional strength and reliability.
Two versions of Maxxis Maxxcross EN
This model is offered by the Asian manufacturer in two versions - for the front and rear wheels. They differ from each other not only in tread patterns, but also in the composition of the rubber mixture, which allows each of the two tires to most effectively solve all the tasks facing them.
Open design of the tread pattern
Both modifications are equipped with a tread with a maximally open design, containing a large number of individual blocks. A common feature is their location. They are spaced as wide as possible, with most of the blocks located almost on the sidewalls. This provides the tire with excellent grip even at significant motorcycle lean angles, as well as feeling confident even on wet earth and sandy soils.
Special lamellas in the blocks
One of the characteristic features of the tread pattern of this tire is the presence of numerous lamellas, cut into almost all blocks. These elements perform several functions at once. First of all, it is the optimization of the distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, which, in turn, improves traction, making it more stable and reliable. In addition, when in contact with wet surfaces, these lamellas, forming numerous grip edges, provide the tire with confident behavior in adverse conditions.
