To a significant extent, the impressive functionality of this pickup is provided by its engine. This is a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel "four", developing 181 hp. Depending on the version, it is combined with a 6-speed "mechanics" or an "automatic" from Aisin with the same number of ranges. Both transmissions can work in tandem with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. In the latter case, a classic "part-time" is used with mechanical connection of the front axle with electronic control from the cabin.

In terms of equipment, the pickup favorably differs from most "classmates", which is not surprising, given that it is created on the basis of the flagship Rexton.
