This version existed until 2017, after which it was discontinued, unlike the standard version, which lasted until 2021.

Second Generation

In the summer of 2021, the Japanese brand presented the second generation of the crossover, which largely repeated the predecessor, first of all, in terms of concept. This was a fairly spacious car with a classic design for its time with a minimal number of extravagant solutions. Another innovation was the panoramic roof, which is part of the crossover's standard equipment. Technically, it retained its connection with the Nissan Pathfinder. Both crossovers were developed in parallel, they use the same platform and set of mechanical components. Due to the conservatism of the buyers of this model, the 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine was preserved in the power range, without undergoing any significant changes. The transmission changed. Instead of a variator, a 9-speed hydro-mechanical "automatic" was used. Only in this model, the gearbox is fixed by means of active mounts, which dampen most of the vibrations, preventing them from entering the body. Another advantage of this solution was the increase in towing capacity - up to 2.7 tons. The car still has front-wheel drive in its standard equipment, and its all-wheel-drive analogue differs from the predecessor with a new clutch on the rear axle, which much faster connects the rear wheels. The transmission, engine, and braking system have unified management with five operating modes, including "manual" with self-adjusting parameters.

In terms of equipment, the car significantly surpasses the previous model. The second row can be either "solid" or consist of two separate seats with a massive console between them. The third row is still designed for two passengers. The design of the front panel has been completely revised, which is made, like the body, in a minimalist style, the most massive element of which is a 12.3-inch display of the multimedia system. The control panel for the climate control system, located under it, has mixed control, responding to both touch and rotation of two handles, the only physical elements. In more expensive versions, the equipment includes a Bose acoustics, 3-zone "climate", a mirror with a display, where the image from the camera on the trunk lid is displayed, as well as upholstery made of semi-aniline leather, decorative elements made of natural wood, front seats with a 3-mode massager.
