In 93-94, restyling was carried out, which increased the level of comfort of the car, as well as brought some aesthetic changes to the exterior - a chrome radiator grille, enlarged disks.

In 1998, a new generation appeared, which differed in a complete rearrangement of the salon. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve an improvement in ergonomics. The weight distribution also changed, becoming 61% on the front and 39% on the rear. The suspension was completely redesigned, making it more comfortable and responsive. The configuration included a keyless access, a hatch, climate control, an increased number of airbags, including side ones. Under the hood, a 2-liter "gasoline" engine was still installed.

The third generation differed from the previous ones in all respects. In addition to the sedan, a coupe was presented for the first time, which was based on the Nissan FM platform. Thanks to the special location of the engine, it was possible to achieve a better weight distribution, which positively affected the accuracy and responsiveness of the steering. A 3.5-liter engine with 260 horsepower served as the power unit. It worked in pair with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission. There were also all-wheel drive options, which were designated as G35x. Modifications in 2005 and 2006 slightly changed the exterior and interior, as well as increased the engine power to 302 horsepower.

The fourth generation started in 2006. First, a sedan was presented, a year later a coupe, and after that a convertible. The car transformed, became more sporty. At the start of sales, it was equipped only with a 3.5-liter engine, but the coupe could already boast a 3.7-liter engine. Later, starting from 2010, a 3.7-liter engine was also installed on the sedan. In addition, a version with a 2.5-liter engine appeared. The model existed until 2014, after which it transformed into the Q50/60. But even today, many G models are still actively used all over the world, and on the secondary market, they retain their value.
