Infiniti QX55 – a crossover coupe that the Japanese manufacturer presented to the public in 2021. With this model, the company decided to return to the segment of mid-size crossovers, a bright representative of which was previously the FX car.

The basis for the novelty was the QX50 crossover. However, it has undergone a number of changes. Firstly, the rear part was thoroughly redesigned, receiving a classic coupe slope. The length of the car increased by almost 4 cm, and the height decreased by 5.6 cm. The interior design did not receive significant changes. There is also an analog instrument panel, two touch screens: 8 and 7 inches, located one under the other. A feature of the multimedia system was the ability to wirelessly connect Apple CarPlay.

Among the equipment, it is worth highlighting ProPilot Assist – an autopilot that provides autonomous acceleration, braking, and lane keeping, as well as pedestrian recognition systems and blind spot monitoring. Top trim levels have 360 cameras, a projection display, and a hands-free trunk opening system.

Under the hood is the same engine as the "donor" – a 2-liter four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 380 Nm. (for our region, this unit will be slightly "strangled" to 249 horsepower). Its distinctive feature is the variable compression ratio. Despite the fact that the QX50 has a front-wheel drive version, the new car only has four-wheel drive, implemented using an electric clutch that connects the rear axle. An important change was the reconfiguration of the suspension, as well as the use of an adaptive electric power steering system.
