Шины на Infiniti Q50 (Инфинити)

The Infiniti Q50 sedan is positioned by the Japanese brand as a compact luxury car. The model was present in the production range from 2014 to 2024, after which its production was discontinued as part of the reorganization of the entire brand, which will only sell SUVs and crossovers.

Key Features

The design of the initial version of the car, which debuted in 2013, was largely taken from the Essence concept, a sports 2-door coupe shown in 2009 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Japanese brand. From it, the representative sedan "inherited" a curved rear pillar, a descending rear window to the trunk lid. Part of the solution was borrowed from another concept - Essence, a 5-door hatchback. The sedan got from it the headlights, radiator grille, as well as the interior design.

As with other models of this brand, the key market for this sedan was North America. For this reason, at the start of sales, it was available only with "large" engines. Basic versions offered a 3.7-liter gasoline V6 with 333 horsepower. As an alternative, a hybrid power unit was offered, which was a combination of a 3.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Basic versions had rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive was available for a fee. And in all trim versions, there was a 7-speed automatic transmission. However, the most important feature of this model was the "electronic" steering. The sedan became the world's first mass-produced passenger car to receive the DAS system, which assumed control without a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels. It was offered only in the most expensive versions, but almost immediately after the start of sales, it became the main reason for complaints when it turned out that at low temperatures, the electronics did not perform its functions, as well as the "safety net" - a cam clutch in the steering shaft.

From the end of 2015, a fairly long cycle of modernization of the car began. The initial stage affected only the technique. The lineup appeared with a 3-liter gasoline engine, which had two turbochargers. The V-shaped "six" was only 12 kg heavier than its predecessors of the VQ series, despite the many more mounted components, but at the same time, in the base version, it produced 305 horsepower and 400 Nm, with the maximum torque available almost at "idle" - from 1600 rpm. Its more powerful version was installed in the "charged" version Red Sport 400 with a power of 405 horsepower and 475 Nm. In both cases, both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive were available, along with a 7-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the "electronic" steering was modernized, which became more resistant to the effects of low temperatures.

In 2016, the car began to be equipped with 4-cylinder engines, which was due to the start of sales in European countries. Basic versions were equipped with a 2-liter gasoline engine with turbocharging developed by Mercedes-Benz with an internal index M274, producing 211 horsepower. In the lineup of "European" sedans, there was a diesel - an in-line 168-horsepower "four" with turbocharging and a volume of 2.3 liters, also from Mercedes-Benz, which combined with both a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed "automatic" 7G-Tronic.

In 2017, the sedan received an updated exterior, differing from its predecessor with other bumpers, a radiator grille, and new "dimensions" with an original L-shaped pattern. But a much more important innovation was the equipment, in which the "autopilot" appeared - the ProPilot system, which controls the car without the driver's participation at a speed of up to 70 km/h within one lane. The standard equipment of this sedan includes wheels with a landing diameter of up to 19 inches, which can also be found in the online store "Mosavtoshina".
