Tyre reviews WestLake Radial SL369 A/T. Page 2 2841

2 seasons in summer operation only.
The tire has run about 20 thousand kilometers.
The mileage is 60% city, 30% highway, and 10% off-road.
After the summer Nokian, it makes a decent noise, but I didn't expect silence from AT tires.
In the city, it's flawless - dry, wet asphalt, puddles - it holds the road perfectly.
On the highway, it gets quite noisy after 120-130 km/h.
I accelerated up to 170 km/h, and it holds the road, including wet roads, perfectly.
Off-road:
1. A muddy field was no problem, even without locking the wheels. It grips almost without slipping, and the best part - the car doesn't sway from side to side like it does on the highway.
2. Sand is also okay if you work the gas carefully without being too aggressive.
3. Small fords - it was a bit scary, but also no problem.
4. Wet downhill and uphill climbs can be done almost in neutral (where I had to shift gears on the highway).
The entire operation was at a pressure of 2.2-2.3.
In the spring, I want to test how it handles mud if I let the pressure down to 0.3-0.5.
I bought it for 6300 per wheel, and now it's already 8500.- Vehicle:

I'm pleasantly surprised with the tires. The tactile quality is top-notch. The tires are not noisy, they absorb bumps well. At high speeds, I have no complaints. I've driven on various off-road terrain, but I don't see the point in describing it, as all similar tires are roughly on the same level and handle their tasks well. The advertised mileage is high. At the time of purchase, it was the lowest price compared to its classmates, taking this into account, it's a real bargain. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

For 4*4 it's just right. Soft, confidently holds the road. Moreover, any road. The A/T works at 5 for passability. As for wear resistance, I won't say, since the mileage is small.

For now, it can be stated that the tires are good. What slightly confused me was that the tread itself, its width, was slightly narrower than the previous ones (at one time, two sets of tires had driven 170,000 km - these were HANKOOK DYNAPRO AT2 tires, size 235/75/16 - I would have taken those again, but...) And the tire size seems to be the same as the Dynapro AT2, but in reality, the working surface of the tread is still narrower: it turns out that the tire size is fixed not by the tread, but by the width of the outer and inner sidewall - this was news to me, an uninformed person, and this needs to be taken into account. Now the tires have already driven about 5,000 km. They were used mainly on the highway - this is natural, but a significant number of dirt roads were also driven on in the northern and southern directions (Karelia - Astrakhan region). Moreover, with a fairly large trailer load. No tire wear was noticed. They hold the road well. They easily withstood both stony roads and other dirt roads (along with unpredictably broken asphalt highways in the southern direction, where in some places you can lose not only a tire but also wheels...) In short, such tires can be bought. Both in terms of price and functionality - quite.

I bought them exactly a year ago, over this time the tread has worn out by 70%, frequent punctures are appearing now, one tire burst on gravel, couldn't withstand small pebbles, after I put a patch on it, a bulge appeared and the tire itself got deformed, the tire is now in the trash, if you're buying these tires, consider their lifespan to be 1-1.5 years maximum

Soft, quiet, moderate off-road very well drove where the old one could not. The only thing is to get used to braking on a wet road, although the driving style is aggressive.

I've driven 5000 kilometers since installation, mostly on asphalt. Initially, I inflated them to 2.2, but it felt too hard, so I dropped it to 2, which is more comfortable. On wet asphalt, they are very confident. They don't handle curbs very well, and sometimes they wobble at speed, but it's not critical. So far, I've only been on muddy dirt roads. I really liked how they performed. No signs of skidding. The downside is that I think the size is overstated. I bought 235-65-17, the tread width is 180mm, and the depth is 9. The tire height turned out to be like a worn-out Dunlop of the same size. If I had known, I would have taken 245 65 17. Also, they were difficult to mount. They barely fit on the rim. The weights were up to 80 grams. I can't say anything about wear yet, as there is no wear after 5000 kilometers.

Noisy. Vibrates in the steering wheel. Advantage off-road. Surprisingly, it almost doesn't get dirty.

Likes small rocks, shoots them out with enthusiasm, no mudguards are not an option, good on snow, not bad on ice, on the grid wall safe rear-wheel drive, in harsh off-road better not to climb, gets clogged in wet black soil with enthusiasm, pulled for 30 minutes, excellent on asphalt, excellent on child and gravel, excellent on wet road, does not hum and does not make noise, waiting for heat +40 to see what's what, time will show how quickly it wears out. Durable, flew into terrible potholes, but surprisingly intact. Bought for 7700 by promotion LT (increased tread)
