Tyre reviews Roadcruza RA1100 8240

I've driven 5,000 km on these tires this summer. Before that, I had BF Goodrich All Terrain on the same car for three years, covering around 40,000 km, mostly during summer. I don't see any difference.
Maybe at 160 km/h, the Chinese tire feels a bit uncertain, but I can attribute this to my limited experience driving at high speeds on poor roads in our region.

Hello to all readers. I've been wanting to change my tires for a long time. My Nitto Dura Grappler tires from 2019 have become very bad. The car has started to wander on the road and especially in the lane, which was not the case before. Microcracks have begun to appear, with about 4mm of tread remaining. I've driven about 110,000 km on them. I've read and heard a lot about different tires. I learned about the Roadcruza manufacturer about a year ago. I wanted theirs, specifically the RA 8000, but they somehow disappeared from the Moscow market. At Mosaavtoshin, I accidentally saw the RA 1100 at a great price! I ordered them immediately. The tires were produced in April 2024, so they're very fresh! Everything was quickly formalized and installed promptly. It took no more than 30-40 minutes! When I drove away, I immediately felt the difference! The ride is smooth, like on rails, it doesn't wander, the steering wheel is light, and I don't need to make adjustments! I didn't notice any hum, driving at 60-90 km/h in Moscow. They look very impressive and convincing. I removed the blue transport paint and letters with WD40 and a rag in about 20-30 minutes. In our Haval club, many have installed these tires, and there are no complaints.

Good day. At the time of the review, I have driven over 1500 thousand kilometers on these tires. The tires have been run-in and have become a bit quieter, making noise like any AT, which is generally not a big deal. On the highway, they behave confidently, but speeds above 120-130 km/h are not for them, there is a slight rolling effect. They balance well and are not skewed.
In the forest, in the spring marshy terrain, the tires showed themselves well, they grip confidently and do not get stuck too much. I haven't tried to rock them, and it's too early to talk about wear.
At the moment, I can say that I'm satisfied with the tires, they handle their task, which is off-road driving. On the highway, for long distances of 500+ km, they didn't cause any discomfort, and the ride is also comfortable.

From the beginning of April 2022 to July 18, this tire has run 7,000 km, and it has exceeded expectations! A barely noticeable hum at 40+ km/h,
It performed excellently in a sandy quarry, and in the city, I didn't notice any discomfort, fuel consumption +1 liter, I still need to test it in the fall in the Astrakhan region after the rains, I'll add a review if possible. For now, I'm very satisfied!
I can't rate the handling on snow and ice since I didn't drive on this tire in the winter, so I'm giving it one star.

I'm very satisfied with the purchase, I bought it for driving on asphalt with very frequent off-road driving. The tire has proven itself to be good, the only drawback is when you hit a deep puddle on asphalt at speed - it aquaplanes, but it's not critical. It's a bit noisy, but with the radio on, it's okay :-) I recommend it to everyone

An excellent tire for the money. When I bought it, I was worried that it would be noisy. But it's not noisy at all! On the highway, 160km/h - it's quiet in the cabin. I haven't driven faster than 160. On asphalt, it handles perfectly, on gravel it's the same, and in mud it gives confidence, but I didn't have the chance to try it in more severe conditions, like on wet clay. I think it's better than the stock Dunlop on my car. There's no aquaplaning, which is understandable with this tread. I don't know how much it's worn out after 10,000km, but it seems not too much. It brakes well on dry roads, and on wet roads too. However, once I was driving down a steep hill in the rain, and even though my speed wasn't too high, the car slightly skidded and my heart skipped a beat, that's why I give it 4 stars for handling on wet roads. Maybe I just misjudged my speed, but it seemed that when the tire was new, it handled similar turns more confidently. In general, I've become more careful on wet roads, and we'll see how it goes. I can definitely recommend this tire, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

Good tires.
3000km on the highway and 1000 on the mountain roads of the North Caucasus.
It grips the rocky soil well, during snowfall on the pass and on thawed clay, it moves evenly, the tread does not get clogged much.
On the spring wet soil, it sinks into the sand under the weight of the car, but exits without wheel spin.
It moves quite normally on the spring snow in the forest.
On asphalt, it rides softly, well absorbing potholes and bumps with joints, after 1000km it started to pull slightly stronger, but it doesn't annoy.
It balanced better than the winter one.
Before this, I had a factory Bridgestone, the fuel consumption was 10.3-10.7 on the highway for long distances.
With this tire and a box on the roof, it became 10.7-11.2. I think the consumption hasn't changed, and maybe it's even decreased a bit.
Regarding safety, if you brake in advance and don't push like in a rally, it's quite a safe and practical tire. For those who often leave the asphalt for dirt roads.
Those who complain that it handles poorly at high speed, "floats" at 100km/h…
You bought tires for off-road use with a 10mm tread, like on a truck, don't have illusions. Follow traffic rules and the laws of physics, value your life! Everything will be fine with you!

Controversial tire. First of all, I need to say that I have the LT version, which is also known as 108s, I think. I bought it specifically because I saw reviews about problems with balancing the regular tire after some time. The LT has a stronger carcass, so the probability of problems is lower, or so I told myself.
Now, about the facts.
It balanced normally, that's a fact. The size is 255 55 19.
It's significantly cheaper than other tires, that's a fact, but the price has already been inflated and they're managing to sell it with a difference of 20,000 from the same Duratrac.
It really slips in wet weather. This is not about crazy driving or aquaplaning, it's just the composition of the rubber. There may not be rain, you can drive 40 km/h, but if you turn sharply into a 90-degree turn, the front will start to slide out. You definitely need to leave a margin when driving. If you need to brake sharply because you misjudged the distance and the asphalt is wet, your chances of stopping in time are at least twice as low. For those who know how to drive, it's more than enough, but remember to leave a margin.I was driving with a trailer, turning right at an intersection. And then, from the right lane, a guy started to sharply turn around, like a Japanese kamikaze, aiming straight for my left wing. It was wet, the rain had almost stopped, but it was still drizzling, I had a heavy trailer with good brakes, but the towing vehicle was loaded to the max. The speed was 15 km/h, I was right in the middle of the turn, and I slammed on the brakes. And the trailer, pushing me with its inertia, started to brake (it needs to tighten the cable, rolling onto the tow ball, because it's an inertia brake, which means it brakes with a slight delay compared to the vehicle) and threw my rear end to the left by at least a meter. This was with a fully loaded vehicle, and the trailer weighed 4 tons, with its tongue weighing at least 150-200 kg. At that moment, I remembered for the first time that I bought a Chinese Roadcruzer and remembered all the comments about its poor wet traction.
On dry roads, it didn't exhibit any problems, the vehicle is heavy, but I didn't have any questions or issues. It doesn't make noise, it holds the road. I often drive with a heavy trailer - the rear swings up to 3.0 points - everything is okay. No problems, no bulges, etc.
I haven't changed the tires yet, because I have separate sets for winter and summer, so I don't know what will happen with the balancing yet.
If it cost what it did 1.5-2 years ago, it would be an excellent option. And one more thing - when I was studying the differences between the regular and LT versions, I found it surprising, but allegedly, they don't have any differences in terms of layering. But the LT has a deeper tread by a couple of millimeters. And it seems like the sidewalls are slightly softer than on the regular version. Accordingly, the weight of the civilian and LT versions is approximately the same, plus or minus. But this is if we trust the Chinese manufacturer's website. And we all know what's written on the fence. But based on my feelings, it really seems like it weighs about the same as my old Duratrac, non-LT.
It's questionable, but okay. We'll see.
So, decide for yourselves, guys, all the best!- Vehicle:

Tires are good for those who occasionally leave the asphalt. The sidewalls are stiff, when driven on rough terrain it flexes well and cleans up well too. But this is still not an MT tire - that needs to be understood. Looks very good on the car. For those who do not leave the asphalt or do so once every five years, this tire is not very good. During balancing, it required a lot of weights (from 50 grams), very heavy, stiff, when moving there is a noise (light, but clearly stronger than the manufacturer claimed), on a wet road the grip is average. Well, in general, good and worthy tires, in my opinion #1 among AT tires (1st place, of course, belongs to BF Goodrich, but today's price for them cancels out all their advantages), yes, there are AT tires that do not hum and hold the road like regular road tires, but off the asphalt, only BF Goodrich or MT tires can compete.

Hello to everyone who is looking for new tires. If you ask me, after almost a year since I installed these tires, whether I recommend buying them, my answer is no. I would rather say that I suffered through the whole summer with them. The vibration through the body and the steering wheel from 90 km/h was just unbearable! Under warranty, they were rebalanced after a month. It got a little better, but the vibration never went away. I especially felt this when I drove on my winter tires. The winter in Moscow was not snowy. On the M9 highway, I drove at speeds of 120-140 km/h. No hint of vibration! Perfect! I dread the seasonal tire change to summer tires and having to put these on again... and suffer again... Either I need to buy new tires.
Yes, it looks good, yes it handles well in mud, rocks, and sand, but it is not designed for speeds above 100 km/h.
