I purchased the Ovation Ecovision W-686 235/60 R18 107H XL tires for my Mercedes ML W166, and we've been driving on them for the 2nd winter! We chose studded tires because we live out of town, and the roads are not always clean, plus there's often ice/black ice, and the tires have proven themselves 100% in these conditions!
When you drive onto an asphalt road, you can immediately hear the tires screeching due to the studs, and I'm telling you, the hum is very loud, for some people, it will be torture on the highway, especially on long distances.
