They used them on 8 inch wide wheels to give a good stretch, give a more J-shaped sidewall when stretched instead of the normal/angled sidewall. Pushed the car hard and had good traction. Didn't have problems in the wet unlike what some people say, and didn't push the car hard on wet roads.

Using them on wet roads, like driving on a frozen lake covered in oil, or wearing roller skates - these things are deadly traps - truly hazardous on wet roads, not big on dry ones

Good tires, can transmit torque very well in wet conditions.
Good looking tread pattern, shows better results than expected, highway driving felt like michelin pilots but not nearly as much grip.
A bit noisy at low enough speeds.
Comfortable but that's what's expected from a low profile tire.

The car is impossible to handle. Tires are way too soft. Have only done 25 km with them, but this is not a good combination and they are being replaced already after 25 km.. Stay away from this product, sidewalls are thinning. However, the delivery was not without any issues.

It was a terrible tire. It made a lot of noise and didn't provide a comfortable ride at all! Three out of the four tires had tread that actually came apart from each other and started loudly singing under the tread as well. The fourth tire didn't have this problem, but it started leaking air and would eventually not hold air for more than a few hours, although there were no punctures in the tire. I don't know where the leak came from. I wore used Goodyear

The Nankang NS2 is a good and affordable tire, which unfortunately reveals minor weaknesses with NSSE when the road is wet.

These tires are great for summer tires, but be aware... they wear out very quickly. I don't drive my summer car more than 2000 miles or so during the summer, and every year I have to replace at least 2 of them! I tried them in snow once, and I ended up hydroplaning, going 5 miles less than 1/4th inch on the ground. They're pretty good in the rain and somewhat comfortable after getting used to driving on them,

After many years of driving these are the quietest tires I have ever had! Not so good in wet and slippery conditions, but a great deal of feedback. Normal everyday driving first class.
