Hello everyone! For the first time, I bought tires from a Chinese manufacturer. So far, I don't regret it. The price was very good, and I read reviews about the company itself and its previous models. I didn't find any negative comments... I installed the NANKANG SW9 106T 235/60 R17 winter tires a few days ago. I purchased them in April 2024. Regarding balancing... All the wheels were balanced perfectly. 3 wheels - up to 60 grams each, the 4th wheel - up to 90 grams. If we look at GOST 4754-97, it only specifies the weight of balancing weights for tires up to R16. On the internet, I found a table for OFF ROAD, where my tire size corresponds to a weight of 142 grams per wheel. I don't know if I should believe it, but at least it gives me a reference point. A friend who is a tire fitter said everything is fine.
Further... In the Moscow region, as of November 1st, there is no frost or snow, but there is plenty of water. I haven't driven over 90 km/h yet. I'm still running in the studs. I also can't comment on aquaplaning yet... The mileage and speed have not been tested yet. But I can say that the noise level... Compared to my previous BRIDGESTONE ICE CRUISER 5000 and 7000 tires, the NANKANG tires are not inferior in terms of noise on asphalt. Maybe they're even quieter... I also consider the fact that the BRIDGESTONE tires had 130 studs, while the NANKANG tires have 215 studs. I know this because I did a complete re-studding of the BRIDGESTONE tires in 2023. 520 studs for 20 rubles each = 10,400 rubles. After driving 5,800 km from October to April, not a single stud came off. So, for now, that's my limited experience. Yes, and about the price... Now my tires cost about 2,000 rubles more than they did initially. I'll definitely write an update when the frost and snow come. I'm interested to see how they'll perform on the highway and in our uncleared winter courtyards... So, I had to slightly deceive when rating the tires. Ordered from Taiwan, came from China. Order of 4 tires, came separately three and one. Different week of manufacture, good thing the difference is a week. Expected more from this supplier, but alas it seems like all the others
