I really don't see the point in spending at least twice as much on a 'name' tire when you can get the same if not better performance out of these tires. Beware, I predict the price of these tires will be going up soon as everyone realizes how good they are, just like what happened with Hancook.

The tires were excellent for the money. The ride was quiet, but the tread wear wasn't great. Dry traction is excellent. I ended up buying another set for my Mercedes AMG. You can go through 2 sets for the price of 1 other set of tires. The ride is smooth, had no issues so far.

I'm very pleased with the efficiency of these tires. Grip on wet roads suffered in the tires as they approached the end of their life. All the time I had these tires they never let me down. Wear was important, as I do a high mileage. They lasted 25% longer than the Michelins that were fitted. The rears lasted nearly 60,000km.

There was no traction, which is always the case for the first 2000 km. Almost like driving on oil...: - (the rear end of the car easily slips in curves on wet surfaces became better, but I wouldn't recommend this at all, but this tire will handle better, I'm afraid...

Great tires, deal. I think they are even better than the hard to get, at the time, Kumhos. Only rated mediocre for wet traction, as tires with such wide cross sections tend to be poor, even top Michelins.

A well durable tire for people like me who abuse the rubber! Not so good in the wet, car experiences understeer like crazy when on a live axle on a wet road. You get what you pay for!

I must say that the tires I purchased were perfect, as for the tire construction, several people asked me where I bought them, now changing car tires should see what you have and what the price is to mount large tires on a Kia, we will feel if you are lucky to have a few of them the offer to use. good evening John N.

Poor performance in wet conditions with these tyres on a non-ABS vehicle with spongy brakes (I mean: very bad brakes) can be hazardous, because it's very likely that the wheels will lock up. But the grip on dry is excellent (grip on wet is not, but it's still alright). In the end, due to the grip on dry, they're quite good for their price.

One criterion missing from the ratings is the price to quality ratio. These Nankangs were under 100 for 275/45/18, which is fantastic. A stylish tire with mid-range performance at this price is a winner.

Very good tires and very grippy - The only problem I see with them is that they won't last too long - but I think they have a softish compound which explains the lifespan, but the high level of grip.
