The feel of "slop" in the suspension, even with winter tires. Price-quality. Very pleased.

This is my second set of Matador tyres. Having bought them once at my own risk, I've never regretted my choice. The tyres are soft, not noisy on the road. If you want the tyres to last long, keep the recommended tyre pressure set by the vehicle's manufacturer. I no longer consider other brands for myself. Great tyres for the price.

Purchased in winter, the discounted price was 10% lower than now. The delivery was cheap and hassle-free. The sidewalls are very soft but strong. Noise level is low. Very satisfied with the price-quality ratio. Made in the Czech Republic, size 235/60R18.

235/60R18. Up to 50 km/h it's quiet (no noise from the tread). Straight-line stability is fine, I checked on a rut, no issues. The noise increases on poor asphalt. On dry pavement, it's hard to turn sharply, braking isn't great yet, but it may get better after breaking in. Haven't tried driving through puddles, but the deep channels and transverse drainage give me confidence. Bought in January 2024, for its price, the tire is super. Not ready to switch to a Chinese brand yet. Previously had Hankook H436, which was worn out, and driving in a rut was scary. Before that, I had Continental Premium Contact 5, and I notice a similarity in the behavior of the car between Matador and CPC5.

I chose between Kumho PS71, Hankook Ventus S1 evo3, and Laufenn S-Fit EQ. Matador's tread pattern is more suitable for my driving conditions, and positive reviews from Honda owners, along with an attractive price, made the decision for me. I'll update my review after the first thousand kilometers.

The tires were a pleasant surprise. Both in mud and snow, as they say. At first, I didn't like that the car handled like it was made of plasticine, as if I had put on winter tires. But I quickly got used to it and don't pay attention to it. The road holding is not as good, but it's okay, I'd give it a 4. In puddles, the wheels stay straight, don't wander. As for the mud, everything is bad here. The wheel gets clogged, the car slides, but fortunately, the 4x4 system pulls it through, it crawls like a cow on ice. On rocks, everything is fine, the tread holds well. I liked the sand, it feels great, doesn't dig in. The steering wheel responds well. I was surprised at how they behave on a small frost, ice, I thought they would slip, but no. I'm not urging anyone and I'm not saying it's safe to drive, road safety should be a priority.
