At home among one's own.
I've browsed all the forums and all the stores and came to the conclusion that for our winter (Kiev) there's none better yet. The Gislaved NF3 analog has become a bestseller in our region + the manufacturer is Germany, by the way, General is an American company acquired by Continental. Comparing the tread with other brands, I want to say that you can feel the winter tire here, unlike others that are designed for

Survived the harsh winter of 2013 without losing a single stud. Minimal wear and tear.
The tire performed exceptionally well, meeting my expectations.
Handled all the winter roads (snow, packed snow, ice, etc.) including some light off-road excursions (heavy fresh snow).
Note: However, care must be taken when driving on ice.
A little bit noisy, but not annoying (after all, it is a winter tire with studs).
Highly recommend.

I chose like a cow))) ... and I love to get the maximum quality for my money, which I got. After re-reading a lot of tests and reviews about the Gislaved and Continental with the same tread pattern, I understood - this is it. I would have taken the Gislaved too, but I couldn’t find it in my size. 225/70/16 is a winter size (I take it a bit higher in winter, but not as high as in summer

this is the second life of gislaved NF3
Interesting, and the rubber compound is not worse than that of NF3, supposedly made in Germany, maybe on the same conveyor?- Rate

Excellent
Did not stud. Without studs, the tire is good for all roads, especially on snow (loose, packed) - it's just unbelievable, the car turns into an all-terrain vehicle. But on ice - 0.
