I spent a long time choosing, reading numerous online reviews and weighing the pros and cons, and I ended up buying General Altimax. I can say that these are excellent tyres, size 265/65/17 with studs, and the car handles amazingly well both on icy roads and on snowy slush. What pleasantly surprised me was that they are not too loud, although I don't drive on highways above 110 km/h most of the time, and in winter there's no need to

Mazda 6 estate, 2010 model year, 2.0L engine. Has been driven for 1 winter season on studded tires, and has not lost a single stud. Excellent handling on snowy roads, both with and without snowplows, and well-controlled on icy roads (120 km/h and I didn't realize I was on black ice until I started braking actively, and even then, the braking distance was a bit longer than usual, but everything was handled very

I bought these tires in December 2011 (235/70/16). As of today, March 6, 2012, I have something to say. I was eagerly awaiting the first snow and I had to wait. I immediately drove into the drifts! I was driving and I was scared. The drifts were growing, and there are no people in the area, I was alone in the car. I didn't know where to go after the tractor. Anyway, I didn

I long searched and browsed, took photos of the labels
Did 20 laps on the autoroute for 2 days
At home, read reviews on various brands, models
Made a conclusion that all current Pirelli, Bridgestone, Nokian, and the like are well and fashionable
Maybe among them is a good tire for $150, but in my pocket only $450, and to pay only for the brand name is stupid- Vehicle:

Excellent tire
I took it because I drove on Gislaved NF3 for 3 years, and this is a copy of decent quality, although Gislaved had tires of an order of magnitude better quality and softer.

Excellent tires.
I've driven these wheels for over 20 years and covered a lot of distance. They even handle ice well, incomparable to others. This model is a twin of the Gislaved NordFrost 3 and Continental. It's very rare for good companies to duplicate models.

Used for 5 seasons and sold with the car. Virtually all studs in place (first time I've seen this), handles excellent in any winter conditions. Soft yet grippy and comfortable. Admire the surprisingly quiet ride on asphalt.

The long car (Avenis Universal) and its rear end often gets pushed around in corners, so I need to steer a bit more. However, after a long search for a tire, after trying the full Crysl Montera, nothing pleased me, but I couldn't find a German full tire either (by the way, I drove 3 winters and the wear was minimal, so I sold the car with it). In general, the salespeople convinced me to try this Goodyear

For the middle class, excellent tires.
Today I bought for Santa Fe 215/70 R15 front-wheel drive. The size is exclusive, there is very little choice. Stopped at this one. The first impression is positive. A very successful pattern, it copes with decent snowdrifts, on ice it showed itself normally.

Excellent tires.
I've driven them for one winter and they're still going strong for two more. I have virtually no complaints, only positive experiences. They handle the road very well at any speed. The maximum speed I've driven on a highway with piled-up snow was 160 km/h. I'm impressed!
