The Triangle PL01 winter tire is suitable for almost any modern passenger car of small and medium class. The model is offered in a wide range of sizes. The operational properties are selected taking into account the requirements of car owners in Northern Europe and Russia. The tire was developed by an international team of specialists for foreign markets.

Optimized lamellation technology

The tire tread contains several thousand lamellas, narrow slits that compensate for the lack of studs. They form numerous edges that the tire grips into the icy surface, providing reliable traction with it.

Elastic compound at low temperatures

The tire's traction properties hardly change even with a significant decrease in ambient temperature. This is achieved due to the thermal stability of the compound, which consists of more than two-thirds of silica. This component provides the tread with elasticity, which has a positive effect on its effectiveness in severe frosts.

Main features of the Triangle PL01 tire

- several thousand lamellas improve traction on ice;
- wide shoulder blocks prevent lateral skidding, reduce braking distance;
- the rubber compound ensures unchanged traction properties even with a significant decrease in temperature.

Technologies

V-shaped design

Provides high resistance to aquaplaning and improves handling in deep water and on loose snow.

Grouped tread blocks and high-density sipes

Provides excellent braking results on wet asphalt and ice.

Central rib and directional tread

A special tread pattern with a large focus on the central rib increases the stiffness of the tire, contributing to better cornering. Confident handling is achieved even at the highest speed.

Silica Winter Compound

Sidewall design
