Description Белшина Artmotion Snow (Бел-337) 195/65 R15 91T

The Belshina Artmotion Snow winter tire is offered in 14 sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter from 13 to 16 inches, making it an excellent option for small and medium-class passenger cars. The model is designed with the changing weather conditions of Northern Europe and Russia in mind. It is characterized by good traction properties on snowy and wet roads.

Directional Tread Pattern

The tire is equipped with a tread featuring a "classic" V-shaped design for winter models. It is formed by converging drainage grooves in the center. Their direction against the direction of travel ensures high water drainage, and their significant size allows them to remove not only water but also snow masses from the contact patch.

Z-Shaped Lames

Another feature of the tread is the very high density of the lames. It is provided by several solutions in their design. One of them is the Z-shaped form. It limits the mobility of the blocks, which remain rigid and resistant to deformation. At the same time, the notches cut in them form multiple edges of adhesion when in contact with the road surface - more than 3,000 in total on the entire tread. This is more than enough to provide the tire with reliable behavior on rolled snow and ice, where it demonstrates confident acceleration and short braking distance.

Key Features of Belshina Artmotion Snow

- designed specifically for small and medium-class passenger cars;
- directional symmetric tread pattern with wide and directionally-oriented drainage grooves prevents aquaplaning and slushplaning;
- more than 3,000 Z-shaped lames provide effective acceleration and deceleration on rolled snow and ice;
- double solid central rib improves directional stability and handling responsiveness.

Belshina Artmotion Snow: budget winter tyre for city and snowy roads

The model is of interest to drivers who are looking for an affordable winter tyre for city driving at moderate speeds. The main advantage is the good balance of price and quality with confident performance on snow and wet asphalt, but on bare ice, the grip is inferior to specialized solutions.

Who is it suitable for: This tyre is optimal for urban use in the winter period, when roads are regularly cleared, but snow slush is often encountered. Buyers appreciate its smooth ride and comfort on unevenness, which is important for Russian roads. The directional tread pattern effectively drains water and snow, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. Many note its quiet operation on asphalt, which is a rarity for the budget winter segment. Factory balancing usually does not require additional weights, which saves time at the tyre fitting shop. For small and medium-sized cars like Lada, Kia, Renault, this is a reasonable choice for a moderate driving style. In regions with snowy, but not icy, winters, the model reaches its full potential.

Who should consider an alternative: It's better to choose a different class if you regularly drive on bare ice or in regions with prolonged black ice. The model is less suitable for those who often drive above 120 km/h on the highway — soft sidewalls reduce stability. For aggressive driving and sporty handling, it's more reasonable to look towards more rigid constructions. Novice drivers without experience of winter driving on tyres should consider studded alternatives. If the priority is minimal fuel consumption, the rolling resistance here is not the lowest in the class.

Main reason for choice: The main argument for buying is the practical benefit for a city driver with a limited budget. You get predictable behavior on snow and wet roads without overpaying for the brand. The compromise in the form of weaker ice characteristics is typical for non-studded budget tyres and requires simply more careful driving on black ice. The level of expectations should be kept realistic: this is a working winter tyre, not a premium solution. With moderate driving and timely replacement of the set, the model serves the stated period. The final advice is to take it for the city and suburbs, where the speed rarely exceeds 100 km/h.
