Currently, the Sonar brand is owned by one of the largest Chinese tire manufacturers, Nankang Rubber Tire Corp, LTD.

The Sonar company was established in 1996 on the island of Taiwan and today occupies a significant share of the market of this island nation in Southeast Asia. In addition, this Taiwanese manufacturer exports its tire products to more than 50 countries around the world. The Sonar company is a production association that includes a development center in Japan, production complexes in Taiwan and South Korea, as well as two chemical enterprises located on the mainland of China.

Currently, the Sonar company's production range includes 16 tire models designed for both passenger cars and SUVs, as well as various commercial vehicles.

This category of tires is represented by nine models. The SX-1, SX-1 Evo, and SX-2 models are high-performance tires designed for most modern passenger cars, from compact city cars to powerful sports coupes. At the same time, the SX-2 is the company's first attempt to create a high-performance asymmetric tire.

The SX608, S505, and S780 models are designed for most modern models of passenger cars in the small and medium classes. Tires in this category are distinguished, first of all, by an excellent balance between excellent handling, comfort while driving, excellent fuel economy, and democratic price.

The SX-9 and SX-990 models are designed for SUVs and other vehicles with increased passability, which are mainly operated on roads with a solid surface. These models are distinguished by excellent traction and coupling characteristics in any road conditions.

The summer Sonar tire model S-888 is designed for commercial vehicles and is characterized by excellent handling, regardless of the degree of loading, due to its rigid design. In addition, this model is distinguished by excellent wear resistance and low rolling resistance.

This category of tires includes models S-860, S-830, and N-850, designed for vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive transmission, i.e., for SUVs. Also, the N-820 model for light trucks and other commercial equipment can be attributed to all-season tires.

The range of winter tires from the company is represented by three models - PF-2, PF-5, and P-800, which are suitable for both passenger cars of various classes and SUVs.
