Thanks to the presence of studs, the Sonar PF-5 tire feels great on icy road surfaces. The wavy shape of the lamellas creates multiple additional edges of traction when moving, making the car even more manageable.

The shape of the central part of the tread, consisting of two ribs without any breaks, also contributes to this, and as a result, it has resistance to dynamic deformation and excellent stiffness.

Wide drainage grooves

All tread ribs are separated by wide drainage grooves. This design feature of the tread provides for the effective removal of liquid from the contact patch when driving on wet roads, even at very high speeds.
