Sonar S888

The Sonar S888 summer light truck tire is one of the latest developments from the well-known Taiwanese tire manufacturer and is designed for a wide range of commercial vehicle models, from light vans to small trucks. The wide applicability of this tire is indicated by the sufficiently large number of sizes in which it is produced - from 155R12C to 215/75R16C.

The tire with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern is distinguished by an original design, the distinctive feature of which is the presence of two longitudinal ribs in the central zone of the tread. Each of the ribs is a row of separate massive blocks made in the shape of a quadrangle. Since the blocks are spaced at a minimum distance from each other, this has made it possible to provide not only a large contact patch but also a more even distribution of external load over its entire area. In addition, due to the parallelepiped shape and the minimum distance between them, the blocks of the two longitudinal ribs form a solid structure, ensuring the stiffness of the entire Sonar S888 tire.
