Sonar P-800

The Sonar P-800 winter tire is designed for small commercial vehicles. It is characterized by good stability of traction properties on uncleared roads, stability on icy surfaces, ease of handling, and a long service life.

The tread pattern is distinguished by the shape of the lamellas in the central part blocks, resembling a water siphon. This solution is designed to increase the intensity of water drainage from the contact patch, improving resistance to aquaplaning. The shoulder blocks contain classic lamellas with zigzag edges. This increases the traction and braking effort on ice, providing ease of handling when changing the direction of movement. Three wide circumferential grooves, due to their large size, are able to drain not only water but also its heavy mixture with snow from the contact patch.
